B&B Corte Rossa

We had some small problems with the room, but it was well located, great for those taking the Bernina Express tour, practically in front of the station

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B scelto per la sua posizione centrale e a pochi passi dalla stazione di Tirano della Ferrovia Retica (10 minuti a piedi). La struttura non dispone di una reception, per il check-in ci si può recare in un albergo li vicino oppure, come abbiamo scelto noi, contattando telefonicamente e ricevendo via messaggio codice d’accesso alla camera (sistema comodo che non vincola nell’orario in caso di arrivo in tarda serata). La camera si presenta molto bene con un bel letto comodo, pulita, dotata di condizionatore, televisore, piccolo frigorifero, bollitore e macchina per il caffè in capsule. Le pulizie vengono fatte giornalmente. Corte Rossa non è dotata di ascensore e non dispone di un proprio parcheggio ma nelle immediate vicinanze non abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovarne uno.

I'm coming back now from Tirano I took a room for one night. I found this little apartment. It was a beautiful discovery we liked it very much. A double bed, very comfortable with a wardrobe and a small table. A small kitchen but there was everything for a weekend, it's fine. A decent bathroom and a counter to have breakfast. Everything well looked after and clean. We checked in online and when we arrived we received our code to enter our room, it was awesome. A really nice mini apartment.

Perfect B&B both for the location and for the warm and comfortable room with small balcony. Excellent cleanliness. With Google I had a bit of difficulty finding it (while if I had known that it is on the left of the entrance gate there is the intimate shop ….)

We stayed in this property one night after taking the Bernina red train. The structure is new, or at least recently renovated. The room is clean and spacious, as is the bathroom and the kitchen (the only thing is that I recommend changing the microwave and hob with newer utensils). Good bathroom products and even those for a small breakfast. The location is perfect, 2 minutes walk from the Rhaetian railway station and the centre, convenient for reaching any restaurant and point of interest. There is a lot of parking nearby, not always free, but that of the station (free is really a stone's throw away). Price in line with the Tirano market. The only slightly sore point is the lack of a lift, but you can keep fit and healthy!

We stayed there for 3 nights and my opinion is positive, the owners are very polite and helpful... it's a courtyard detached from the central hotel... beautiful, comfortable and perfectly air conditioned rooms... being someone who sells mattresses... maybe I'm a bit critical and I would have preferred a softer mattress... the price for the right period but perhaps a little expensive... in any case right in front of the station for the Bernina train...

I stayed at this property with a friend in July. We chose this structure convinced by the photos that it presented it very well, which actually proved to be a disappointment on all aspects. Let me briefly describe our experience. The structure for charity is new, at first glance it looks good. Modern...but... We booked a double room with double bed (checked in with both documents as requested). At first glance, everything is very beautiful, but a more careful evaluation revealed all the anomalies. In order: - floor of the room (not the bathroom) full of hair and hair spread on the floor. Surely the floors in the room were cleaned with the same dirty rag used for the bathroom. In addition to the hair near the bed there were several dark spots - mini refrigerator in the room dirty inside - bathroom: toilet paper roll already started ... it was half and half dirty. Precariously balanced shower arm mounted on the plasterboard wall, surely with unsuitable plugs. Booked room for two, towels were missing for both. Only one shower towel. One only for the bidet. Terrible. Considering the not exactly cheap price (110€) all very bad... ah breakfast not included.
