We arrived early at the hotel. Berta was very helpful in storing our luggage,hence we were able to qalk around city while waiting for our room to be ready. clean and comfortable. breakfast was a luxury. had a good night sleep before we hit the road. Berta even ensured to check on us if there was anything else we needed and booked us our taxi. very helpful guide too. provided the information we needed for our 1night in Tirana.
staff at the restaurant were very attentive to our need for 'halal' food. again, they amazed us withnthe spread of 4 course bfast... from starter to desert. spoilt!

This is more of a guesthouse than a hotel - you let yourself in and out and there’s no one on reception unless you ring the counter bell. It’s in a convenient and central location, 2 mins from Pazari I Ri (market) and very close to Skanderbeg square and a busy road with lots of restaurants (I got my bearings by Opa Greek Street food which is on the corner side street). Hotel was very helpful in arranging a late night airport pick up for me which cost €20. Driver was waiting outside KFC on arrival with my name. My name/reservation was handwritten in a book and I was given a door key (not a on key ring or fob or card, just a sole key). Room was a decent size, but quite old-fashioned with gold decor. There was a safe and a fridge/mini bar, but no kettle. The TV had two remotes but didn’t work. I found breakfast confusing! Yes, a lot of love and effort had gone into the colourful presentation but it was unusual to have an omelette and poached egg on a plate, surrounded by random pieces of fruit and salad leaves. There is no menu as such, they just bring out things for you. I would have liked tea at breakfast (they only had coffee and fruit teas). There was plenty of food to fill you up though. All in all, it was a nice stay and well worth ＜£60 a night.

As others have said, small room sumptuously decorated- overlooking school playground near the market square (pazaar/ bazaar). Amazing fruit vegetables and egg breakfast - 3 courses!! Very attentive owner who at first introduced himself as our waiter!! In Tirana? Just stay here

We'd been really looking forward to our stay here based on the reviews, but unfortunately were left disappointed. On arrival the room we were taken to a double room when we had booked a twin. After a lot of discussion between the staff about whether ******* had passed the request on and what could be done, they did convert the room to a twin, but we were made to feel uncomfortable and that they were doing us a favour.
The room itself is lovely, a little small but spotlessly clean, with super comfortable beds, good air-con and a great, spacious bathroom. However noise from the street can be heard until late at night and starts again early in the morning from the nearby market and school.
Breakfast was honestly a bit of a spectacle. The food is all very lovely and it is obvious a lot of work goes into the several-course spread, but it feels over the top and there is so much waste. The encounter was made a little odd by the restaurant manager coming over mid-way and removing the salad garnish from our plates - I'm still not sure why. We were also charged for our hot drinks with breakfast which wasn't made clear, and then short-changed as the hotel didn't have the right change available.
The location is great - walking distance to Skanderberg Square, all the sites and the airport bus, but overall we would stay elsewhere when returning to Tirana.

Gloria Boutique is located about a 2-minute walk to Pazari I Ri, which is the old market, and it’s fairly easy for taxi drivers to find it, even when traffic is heavy. There are many good things about this place. First, even though there are only 6 (maybe 7) rooms, I never heard anyone else from another room. The woman who is in charge of reception was very helpful. The breakfast is beautiful and bountiful! The AC works fantastic. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciate the varying thickness of the pillows. And it was a very clean space. There need to be repairs done. My window didn’t close completely and when I walked on the floor, I could feel it dipping! Also, some of the pieces are raised, so you have the potential of tripping or stubbing your toe, if you’re not mindful. The website doesn’t state there’s no elevator, but you should know there are about 10 steps to get in, then you have about 15 to get to your room plus another 15 or so to get to the restaurant. It’s generally quiet, maybe a little street noise but nothing terribly loud, until a school day. Kids begin playing around 8a and they scream and laugh and have a very loud time until 3:30p. There is a small break, then they begin again (and now it’s 7:30p, still going on) If this doesn’t matter, no big deal then. I believe it’s only in my room which is across from the others. (Room 106) There’s a mini bar with bottled water, wine, beer, sodas. Also, there is a safe. They provide complimentary water with lemon and mint leaves, but it has been opened to put the leaves in, which I didn’t want to drink because the water gets cloudy as the day goes on because of the leaves. Despite the small annoyances like the floor and the kids, everything was quite good.

A Tirana ho scelto di soggiornare all’Hotel Boutique Gloria, un 4 stelle veramente curato, praticamente in pieno centro ma in una via defilata molto silenziosa. L’Hotel Boutique Gloria è molto silenzioso, dispone di sole 6 camere, una più graziosa dell’altra. Le stanze sono piccole, ma arredate con gusto, insonorizzate e hanno tutto quel che serve posizionato in modo intelligente, dall’armadio alla tv, aria condizionata, un bel terrazzino, acqua omaggio all’arrivo, bagno con doccia enorme (il nostro anche con ampia finestra), tutti i prodotti disponibili, ciabattine, spazzolini e dentifricio, rasoio… Il nostro letto era grande e comodo! Wifi perfetto in tutta la struttura, sul terrazzo c’è un ristorante pizzeria luminosissimo con tetto apribile, abbiamo pranzato l’ultimo giorno divinamente, ma non avevamo dubbi: anche la colazione era straordinaria! Spremuta fresca, bottiglia d’acqua, yogurt e diverse delizie sia salate che dolci, oltre a frutta, formaggi e, su richiesta, omelette. Basta concordare l’orario la sera prima, visto che tutto è fresco e preparato sul momento. La sala ristorante per la colazione gode di una favolosa illuminazione Tre tipologia di pane differenti servite la mattina La qualità era eccelsa anche per il servizio ristorante, anche per un semplice piatto di spaghetti al pomodoro C’era l’imbarazzo della scelta sia per gli amanti del dolce sia per gli amanti del salato Il ristorante è aperto anche per chi non soggiorna in hotel ed è anzi, molto rinomato in città, serve anche un’ottima pizza. Il personale è estremamente sorridente e gentile, sia in sala, che in reception parlano italiano, le due ragazze nella hall sono simpatiche e preparate. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo per un 4 stelle curato nel dettaglio, elegante e in pieno centro. In ottima posizione, a pochi passi dalla piazza principale di Tirana, dietro il Pazari i Ri con i suoi bar e a circa 10 minuti dai locali del Blloku. Tirana ci ha sorpreso positivamente, se ripasseremo soggiorneremo sicuramente all' Hotel Boutique Gloria, perché offre un soggiorno nel cuore della capitale, ma allo stesso tempo silenzioso, dotato di ogni comfort e qualche coccola in più rispetto a grandi alberghi, curato nei particolari, con un ottimo ristorante!

Wonderful little hotel, just a few minutes walk from Skanderbeg Square and the bus station. It was clean, and my single room was large enough, had a lovely en-suite with a great shower. The staff were so friendly - welcoming and helpful (printed my boarding pass last minute without a problem - Ryanair travellers beware, can’t use app for return flight from Tirana!), and the guys in the restaurant were just lovely. As others have mentioned, the breakfast was incredible! So much of it, I didn’t need to eat again until a light meal in the evening! I’d love to go back to Tirana, and if I do would definitely head back to Hotel Boutique Gloria.

The breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious. The rooms are small but nice and clean. The hosts are incredibly friendly. It was a perfect stay for us.
