Overpriced and not in tune with the setting. It’s as if they have put a little piece of the Las Vegas ***** in the middle of a Japanese garden. Just a metaphor but gives you the idea. Upsetting, to arrive at a place like Tinos and end up in a glorified Hilton, complete with golf carts and unhappy staff. Also: This place is not liked among the locals, as quite a few of them told me without my asking. Just mention where you are staying and they (try not to) grimace. There are a number of reasons for this. One is that they are regularly and knowingly breaking the law regarding noise disturbance. Elevator music, Miley Cyrus, etc. being blasted into the nearby villages well after midnight. If you want the generic, pricey, country club scene of Mykonos, go to Mykonos. If you want the special experience of the island of Tinos, the best way to miss out on that is to stay at the Suites.

Totally overpriced for what it is. Did not enjoy our stay here. Small room and it was loud until 2-3am every morning due to the very bad set-up of the rooms right above the restaurant and pool. Also during siesta time we got no peace whatsoever. The property is very exposed to the super strong winds in Tinos. "Aeolus" is the God of the Winds - go figure! The location could not be more inconvenient, far from any beach and good restaurants. We drove a minimum of 1h every day to get to places and back. The drive way leads through the middle of the hotel amenities. Room 1 (thank God we did not stay here) is even in the junction of the drive way up to the parking lot.

Check in at 3pm and room ready at 5 pm. No hot water for shower. Long black air in the basin. Not very good for 200€ por night ! The hotel has nice position and (our) large room with sea view but need to be better run

We visited the hotel in August for a weekend. We had booked and prepaid a 45 Square Meter Superior Sea View Suite. While the hotel is expensive and supposed to be premium, there is no service from the Port to the hotel or the Hotel to the City and you need to take a taxi to go there that costs 15 Euros. We took a taxi and arrived to the hotel. We stayed by the pool while waiting for our check - in. While we were supposed to have a welcome drink as part of our booking while we waited, we didn't. When the Concierge manager came to take us to our room, we found out that the room she prepared for us was not the room we had booked and paid. The room was half the size, with windows and not a big balcony that our room was supposed to have and instead of overlooking the pool and the sea, it was overlooking the parking. The Concierge Manager, Diana [-], was very rude and sarcastic to us when we told her that this is not the room we had booked and told us that she gave the room we had paid and booked, to someone else and that if we didn't like the one we got, we should leave and go to another hotel....Her attitude was unacceptable and unprofessional and throughout our stay she had been extremely rude to us, by far the worst Concierge manager we have ever met in similar hotels across the globe. They refused to give us the room we had paid for, they refused to give us a refund for the difference in the tier of the room and throughout our stay she even refused to speak to us or greet us. We never even signed the check in form because she was avoiding us. It is such a pity that a hotel of such amazing view and potential is run so badly. I will never visit this hotel again and will also make sure none of the people I know ever chooses this place to rip off their money.

The hotel is blessed with the most amazing natural setting high in the hills with a beautiful vista down to the Aegean – you’d be hard pressed to find a better view in Tinos! The hotel itself has been beautifully designed to match its natural surroundings; the room was spacious and clean. However, the service did not match the 5* location and given the hotel’s price point I think they need to do a lot better on this front if they want to succeed in making the hotel a luxury option in Tinos. A couple of observations: - A complimentary bottle of water was provided on arrival in your room – this was never replenished during our 5 night stay. - Service around the pool area was practically non-existent (you had to go looking for waiting staff if you wanted a drink). - The lamps which created the mood lighting next to our table were removed mid-dinner service and taken upstairs for a private function. - We struggled to arrange car hire and when I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival they just provided me with the telephone number of their preferred supplier. Again, given the price point of the hotel and fact its targeting the luxury market, you’d expect them to be of more assistance in arranging this. - One evening we ordered drinks after returning from dinner to enjoy on our balcony. We had to stand in middle of restaurant to wait for them – if there is no lounge / bar area then they should be better equipped to provide room service. Operationally, the hotel was operated as a restaurant and not as a hotel. The hotel has huge potential but they do need to address these operational issues if they wish to succeed in the luxury market.
