Timmins Hotels with Wi-Fi

Timmins is the type of place where you don't just show up accidentally, you are there for work in the Mining/Forestry fields, etc or to visit family. After dropping off a family member I had decided to rest up overnight before heading back south in the morning, I am glad I chose Hampton Inn, the Hotel had tons of clean well-lit parking and was easy to find on the main strip ( Algonquin st ) the building also looked a little more modern and better looked after than some of the other Hotels in the city and was slightly cheaper on the night I booked which was the 5th to 6th not ( 4th to 5th ) as it shows in the description above. The hotel itself was spotless and modern and the service was good. Early morning breakfast the next day was included in the price and it was good for what it was. If traveling to Timmins again I would definitely stay at this Hotel.

Great ! I know this place has had many bad reviews in the last couple years, honestly for the price it was great! Friendly staff, easy check in, clean room, bathroom was a little out dated but clean, great water pressure, comfy bed. Nice simple breakfast, served to us. I would definitely come again.

After a 9 hour drive, we found the room we booked for the weekend was extremely small, dark, and dated. Furniture had obvious stains and curtains had a hole. I went to the front desk to cancel the rest of our stay and the clerk offered us a free upgrade which was nice on her part. It turned out to just be a larger version of the first room. The noisy ac went off at around 10pm (an energy saving feature I was told) and then the smell of the carpet was noticeable. The room next to us was checked in after midnight and they were so loud we couldn't sleep. The walls are paper thin. The clerk did ask them to quiet down after we and another room complained but they wouldn't and we eventually had to switch rooms at 3:30am. He placed us next to the laundry facilities that had loud noises early in the morning. The next day we had to spend time trying to find a new hotel and recovering from the lousy night stay at Microtel. Spend a few dollars extra and stay in the hotel near the airport. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

I called yesterday around 10am the lady I spoke to didn’t tell me her name I don’t mean to write this, but she had no clue about your ameneties, I tried booking 2 room she wasn’t able to help me, I called back around 5pm her name i hope I write it correctly she spoke loud and clear very patient and friendly she explained your hotel to me very well. Just because of her friendliness I want to stay there.Thank you Patricia .My wife also stayed there a few weeks back and your head housekeeper she said her name something rarmandeep I hope I wrote it right. Nice clean room. Very comfy bath tub. The bed is comfortable. Nice quiet area Very accommodating staff. Good location beside East Side Mario's. Microwave and fridge. Walking distance from the Mall. Will definitely stay here again.
