Words cannot describe perfection. Perfection must be experienced! Old Hall Country Breaks is truly a piece of heaven on earth: from the hosts (consummate professionals), the service, the facilities… It is simply a holiday destination for life.

Our fourth visit to Old Hall and it still impresses. It is the most perfect place for a break; first class accommodation and hosts who think of everything. Gil and Philip have created an exceptional home in which to relax and enjoy the delights of Norfolk. Whilst it is tempting to while away the day in the beautiful garden, we have visited so many delightful locations and found some special restaurants all courtesy of Gil's recommendations. We mustn't forget to mention dear Humphrey who is such a character. We are missing his morning visits to snuggle up on the sofa! Thank you Gil, Philip, Humphrey and all the team for creating this wonderful place. We'll see you again in 2026!

Just returned from a lovely stay at Old Hall, it truly is a gem, every little detail has been thought of, Gil and Phil are wonderful hosts, perfect balance of being there when needed and leaving you to enjoy the property and all the Old Hall has to offer, would highly recommend the breakfast hamper the produce is amazing. Already have a return visit planned for June.

Our first return visit since Gil and Phil deservedly won channel 4’s ‘Four in a Bed’ and the standard is as high as ever. There is also always something new to see or try which is why we keep coming back. It’s a whole experience to enjoy. The afternooon tea is not to be missed as well as the evening meals on offer.

We have stayed a number of times but this was our first December stay. All seasons at Old Hall are fabulous however Christmas is extra special with wonderfully decorated trees and cottages, hot spiced drinks on arrival, Christmas themed afternoon tea in the Old Hall and lots of surprises and goodies along the way. It put us completely in the Christmas spirit. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A perfect luxurious & relaxing getaway First class accommodation in beautiful surroundings, It’s the attention to details that make a stay here so comfortable & enjoyable. For a special treat would thoroughly recommend taking advantage of the additional services on offer; the Thai massage was amazing & the afternoon tea a truly unique experience. Once you’ve stayed at the Old Hall you won’t want to stop anywhere else.
