We stayed here for one night as a stop on the road, just me and my partner. This is a tall, modern-looking hotel. Parking outside was not as expensive as at some other hotels, but still 200kr just for an overnight stay. Service at check-in was very good and friendly. When we got to our room, however, we were a bit disappointed — it was one of the older rooms rather than the newer ones. The AC didn’t work, and it was uncomfortably hot. We asked for another room and were told we could move if we upgraded to a superior room. We decided to upgrade, and the new room in the “new” tower was much nicer. It was still a little warm, but the AC worked well enough, and the room was clean. Breakfast was unfortunately quite disappointing. Staff didn’t refill vegetables, the eggs were undercooked, and the bread selection was poor. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was also not very pleasant, with few good seating options. We left breakfast feeling the hotel could and should do much better. Overall, the hotel was OK for just one night, but we wouldn’t choose to stay here for a longer visit.

Stay in the center of Trondheim in stead. Too expensive to park our car over several days. And the breakfast was not fantastic either....

Terrible experience. Arrogant and incompetent reception staff that was messing up our booking. I am a gold member with strawberry and had prebooked a reservation with an upgraded room. When the staff cancelled the reservation we lost the upgraded rooms. They also failed to inform us about bonus coupons was only available the first day of our stay. The standard room we had to settle in was dirty, shower had gold water. The breakfast was the worst I have experienced in a Norwegian hotel. Essential food was missing and the staff was slow to refill. The Reception staff was incompetent, unfriendly and unpresentative. We will definently never come back to this horrible hotel. My worst hotel experience in Norway in 20 years.

Rommet hadde grå golv, grå vegger og grå stoler. Sengetrekk et vår grått. Pynteputene var grå og med grå motiver. Flisene på badet var grå. Med andre ord midt i blinken for alle med depresjon eller de som ønsker det. Her var det helt tydelig at Jølstad eller kongen av svart, grått, beige og gusje (eventyrlig oppussing) hadde hatt siste ord. Men rommet var reint, frokosten god og personalet var hyggelig.
