"Point of View" Waterfront cottage with panoramic views on Tilghman Island

we came here for a quick getaway after our daughter graduated high school and then had her graduation party. Our family needed to rest and be together...and we found it here.If you're looking for a place to stay on the Chesapeake Bay, you truly can't go wrong here. The location is absolutely stunning. Every window you look out of you can see water... And it isn't just water in the distance, it's right by the house!!Everything about this home is comfort. From the beds to the couch to the recliner chair (good luck leaving that for the day... You'll miss it as soon as you get up)...The only problem with this place is that you won't want to leave (Even for the day.. not to mention the end of your stay). But you have to leave! They provide you with kayaks and bikes to utilize...This place is an absolute dream! We will return!

Our stay at Point of View cottage was wonderful! Everything was exactly as described. Communication with Maria was excellent and her recommendations were spot on! We will definitely stay there again!

Wow - the views were amazing and the cottage was clean and very charming. The hostess gave us all sorts of information ahead of our arrival and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed at "A Point of View". The water views on three sides of the cottage were spectacular at any time of day. The cottage was charming, immaculate and so well appointed. We enjoyed being able to walk to many places and especially the country market. You won't want to miss it. Our host was amazing with prompt replies and offered suggestions for dining and shopping. The cottage was perfect for me, my husband and our doggies. A bit smaller than I imagined but it had everything we needed for our little vacation. The water views from inside the cottage were amazing! You could watch the oyster and crab boats go out to the big back bays and come back in. There is a lot of wildlife: lions, ducks, herons, wrens, seagulls, eagles, crabs, jellyfish, etc.

Idyllic I only had a slightly wider view of the water from a kayak- the panoramic view from the deck was peaceful and beautiful from first light to sunset (though the night coasts were relaxing as well). Inside was clean and had nice decorative touches. We had all we needed to cook in when we did. Easy to walk or ride around and an easy drive to surrounding attractions.We'll be back!
