Very beautiful hotel. Cozy atmosphere. Like in a family. Good breakfast. Wonderful view out of the window. Free parking close to the hotel. Close to several sightseeing places.

Very nice Chinese family owned bed and breakfast. The room are clean and as per the pictures. Good quality homemade chinese style breakfast. The only small drawback is the really hard bed if you are used to soft mattress.

I don't understand how this place gets a 4.7 rating... It was a very bad experience. We booked the most expensive room, but the ceiling was incredibly low and depressing. I could almost touch the ceiling, so we had to change rooms on the spur of the moment. First, there were no bath towels. And even no conditioner? A Safeguard hand soap bottle was placed directly in the sink, and it dispensed when you pressed it... I was told they had other refills, but after searching QQ, it still wasn't even close. The worst part was the mattress—it was so hard! I haven't slept on such a cheap, shabby bed in 20 years. I barely slept the entire night. When I went downstairs to report it this morning, the auntie refused to admit it, saying all the mattresses were the same, and some guests complained about it being too soft (the owner later admitted there were differences). Breakfast was also perfunctory: white rice porridge with pickles and fermented bean curd. Haha. If this continues, they'll shut down. It's dragging down the overall quality of B&Bs in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.

The value of the room itself is there, and the current situation of the entire domestic hotel industry is also here. It is a bit embarrassing to charge for an extra quilt, and the stay is very uncomfortable.

It was average. I asked for two extra bottles of water because my child needed milk. They initially said they would charge me. Later, they gave me the money without charging me. When I left, I left behind two bracelets worth nearly 30,000 yuan. I asked them to take a look, but they said the boss was out and asked me to check. It took a long time for them to respond. The standard room was very small, very small...

Objectively speaking, 1. The B&B facilities are decent, but the price is a bit higher than other B&Bs in the area. 2. The location is quite far from the various scenic spots in Tiantai, requiring taxis to reach them if you don't drive. Furthermore, there are virtually no restaurants in the B&B village, so the B&B only provides breakfast. Lunch and dinner require dining outside the village, making it very inconvenient for travel planning. Subjectively, as a seasoned traveler, I rarely give B&Bs negative reviews, but I have to give a bad review of Tiantai Yanyuxia. The service level and attitude at this B&B are extremely poor. 1. During check-in at 4 PM, while the owner was away, the B&B's customer service team used their phone to take a photo of the guest's ID card without their consent. They only completely deleted the photo from their phone's photo album after repeated requests. The customer service team also had other guest ID information on their phone, posing a potential risk to the security of their personal information. 2. Due to my husband and I'm having different sleeping habits, we requested an additional quilt for a king-size bed, but were told it would cost an extra 50 yuan. This is outrageous. 3. At check-in at 4 PM, we requested the promised room fruit, but it wasn't provided until 7 PM. The B&B's explanation for not being able to provide the room was that the owner was out of town and needed to return to the B&B. Their attitude was extremely rude, resulting in a very poor guest experience. This B&B's service is completely dependent on the owner's mood; there are no service standards, and the service is very irregular. 4. On the afternoon of the first day, after the guest objected to the extra blanket charge and told the platform that they would file a complaint, the B&B owner was rude and falsely accused the guest of threatening him. After 7 PM, knowing that it was dark and impossible for the guest to change accommodations, the owner threatened to check out if they were dissatisfied. 5. The guest was not warned in advance about the breakfast service and did not receive a breakfast voucher in advance, resulting in the guest not being able to enjoy the two breakfasts on the first day. 6. On the second day of a two-day stay, the trash was not removed at all, the floor and sink were not cleaned, and the towels, toilet paper, and paper towels were not replaced. No room service was provided at all on the second day.

The room is very beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights. The breakfast is also good. When the weather is good, sitting outside to eat is very pleasant.

The location is excellent, at the foot of Akagi Mountain, you can see the tower from the window, and the surrounding mountains are shrouded in smoke after the rain, and the word "smoke" can be seen. The tatami room on the 3rd floor has a wide view and is very spacious, and the children also like it. The boss also teaches photography techniques. Next time I come to Tiantai, I will stay here again.
