Ein super-nettes Vermieter-Ehepaar, man fühlt sich wie bei lieben Familien-Angehörigen. Bequeme Betten, tolles Bad, alles sehr sauber, Parkplatz vorhanden, Wintergarten vorhanden. Zur Begrüßung gab es Kaffee und Kuchen, das Frühstück kann man sich zusammenstellen. Unser Wunsch nach einen zeitigen Frühstück (wegen der Fähre nach Orkneys) wurde realisiert. Wir empfehlen Aurora Bed & Breakfast.

The host make you so very welcome on arrival.Tea and homemade shortbread what a treat! Our room was beautifully clean with lovely crisp sheets on the bed Breakfast was delicious and the smoothie amazing. Dogs are very welcome. This place is a 5 star place and I would love to visit again but I would stay longer next time Thanks very much for a lovely time

We stayed here in order to catch a nearby ferry to Orkney. We were met with a warm welcome by Jane who made us tea and served us cakes. Met Richard the next morning who makes the most amazing breakfasts which last all day. Our host were very knowledgeable about the area and where to eat. Very comfortable and very peaceful. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

This place was superb in every way. Wonderful, interesting, attentive hosts with great taste in music(Pink Floyd) Fabulous extras in room including variety of lush toiletries, gorgeous shortbread and cake, everything you could want. Comfy, huge bed with fab views and huge skies. Loved our stay. Our favourite place so far in our trip.

A warm welcome of tea and homemade cakes served in the sunroom overlooking the garden was the wonderful start of our overnight stay. Our room was spacious and warm and the beds very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We look forward to our next visit.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte bei Jane und Richard. Der Empfang war herzlich. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Ausflugtipps von Richard und Jane waren sehr hilfreich. Vielen Dank!!

Excellent all round
What an amazing place to stay. A little outside of Thurso but totally worth booking. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A b & b should have a good bed and a good breakfast, as that's what you're looking for. Aurora excel at both. Such a comfy bed and a great nights sleep and the breakfast is very highly recommended. Try the baked eggs, you won't be disappointed. We're already planning a return visit
