Although located on the main road out of Thurso, the location off the Hotel seemed surprisingly quiet. The rooms are comfortably furnished. The beds comfortable. My only gripe is that the bedding is polycotton. It really should be 100% cotton. Polycotton just makes you sweat. We only spent one night at the hotel on our road trip. We had a meal in the restaurant. The food was good and well cooked. The vegetarian was very predictable. It would be nice to see a bit more imagination in the offering. It's been many years since I have holidayed in the UK. The food unfortunately hasn't moved on much for vegetarians. I find most European countries are much improved compared to the UK. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel over more well established names in the town and weren’t disappointed. Yes this place was built in the sixties but has been kept up-to-date. We asked for an accessible room and weren’t disappointed. The room was spacious, clean, homely and very close to the designated parking. We used the hotel as a stopping point from the Orkneys so only stayed the one night. Found the staff friendly and helpful. The only regret was not trying either the restaurant or breakfast – by the looks of things we missed out. This will be our go-to place next time we visit the area.

There was confusion when we arrived resulting in our accommodation had being cancelled. We were offered two alternative rooms as the third was likely to be noisy above a football party. The commitment to locate us was both reassuring and above expectation. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly helpful and professional. An excellent location with lots of parking. Breakfast was a delight. We really enjoyed our time with you thank you

This hotel never drops its standards each time I have visited. First time was 1967 when the owners parents had the hotel. The staff are so helpful, and seem to know you when you return from your day out. I have visited other hotels in Thurso, but always come back to The Park. You will not be disappointed . Lovey clean rooms, and always plenty of coffee tea for use in the room. I do not hesitate to recommend The Park

Verouderd, doch zeer schoon hotel met ruime kamers en bad. Restaurant serveert degelijke pub- gerechten. Aangezien er niet erg veel zitplaatsen zijn en veel locals hier ook komen is reserveren aangewezen. Ontbijt (door de week) is a la carte en heel lekker. In het weekend is dit in buffet-vorm.

The staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us. We had a lovely dinner. We were cycling and they made a space for us to store our bikes safely inside which was very kind. Lovely experience.
