The Modern Motel in Thunder Bay is fraudulent. They charged us $20,00 for damages to the room...........that we did NOT do. We tried to talk to the owner and he was impossible to deal with. This motel will STEAL your money. I will be taking them to the Small Claims Court of Ontario. The owner will be charged with FRAUD.

I did not like that they did not honour our reservation and instead sent a message an hour after we were to check in to say they booked all the pet friendly rooms in their motel but we could stay at another one they owned which was not anything like what we had booked
