Sterling guruvayur stay was excellent pros - 1) the place was clean and well maintained 2) - room service was efficient 3) ac, hot water facilities worked very well cons - 1) the receptionist had agreed for a late checkout at an additional cost and then next day morning a different manager refused it forcing us to book another hotel at the nth minute 2) housekeeping isn’t upto the mark 3) breakfast buffet options are very limited and nothing is hot 4) menu for room service also isn’t great overall - with guruvayur being a tourist location, flexible check in and check out with additional cost should be allowed because it’s not a hub with great transport system like airport and railway station and given the weather it’s impossible to wait outside for your train especially with two little kids. Also, food options should he provided including a menu in the room for room service due to language restraint.

I had a pleasant and comfortable stay hotel merlin international. It is located very near to the thrissur railway station. Room was neat, tidy and spacious.

Nice stay. Good room and staff ! but no amenities, no food. Food can be managed by swiggy or zomato or outside. But at-least there is no kettle to make tea or coffee or for hot water. Which was very much needed.

Location was good. Market, temple, palace, stadium was very near. Staff was cooperative. But no in house restaurant in the hotel, no geyser in the room, they provide u bucket of hot water if u need. Rest everything was good.

Foam was good. But the whole atmosphere and environment of the hotel was so drastic and terrible. While we were in the floor of the room, there were plates and glasses used in the bar or something not cleaned and bad smell all over the hotel were there! thank you!

The place is right on the road. Easily accessible. We checked in late night. Service was good. The rooms were ready. Neat and clean. Kettle was provided.
