Find a better option.
Here are the positive points:
It’s a dry place if it is raining I suppose and the air conditioning works. The beds are comfortable compared to most hotels and the bathroom is clean. Nice size refrigerator that works and a nice TV.
Now, the negatives:
First, they took a security deposit that wasn’t mentioned in the listing. I hate having to run my card for something unexpected, especially when my numbers have gotten stolen in the past. The room is dated and poorly laid out, the nightstand is 4 feet from the bed. The room is huge but mainly wasted space, at least put a nice chair in there to watch TV. The “continental breakfast” consisted of cereal, coffee, juice and granola bars, what a joke. My allergies are crazy in the room which for me would indicate mold. That’s a non-scientific analysis however. Finally, the door’s deadbolt doesn’t work. It’s hard to sleep when you feel unsafe.
Pay a few dollars more and stay at the neighboring Holiday Inn Express.
