We stayed in lodge #9. It was exactly as shown in the website pictures. Everything was clean and tidy. We are a family of 4 with a 17 & 19 year old and the accommodations were vey comfortable. It has everything we needed. The kitchenette was perfect for warming up left overs from lunch, and the coffee beans provided from the local grower for me to grind and brew daily was wonderful. Truly appreciated! The property is beautiful with the Kaweah River just outside our front door. We could enjoy its roar from the small front porch. It was magical to climb the boulders on the river and just take in the views around us. The lodge provided a free Stargazing tour which we took advantage of. Scott a former Conservatory park employee shared his knowledge of the constellations with us and the night sky did not disappoint. This was huge for us since we realized we were not comfortable driving the widening switchback roads back into the park at night. Thank you Buckeye Tree lodge for providing this experience. We also enjoyed seeing the bats from near by Crystal Cave flying and feeding at dusk, along with the family of California Quail feeding in the garden at the steps to our room. What a magical stay! Buckeye Tree Lodge & Sequoia & Kings Canyon NP were the perfect combination.

Buckeye Tree Lodge was perfect for our family of 12. We rented the Riverhouse and Dogwood Cabins and had plenty of room for everyone. The river was fun to play in and the pools were fabulous on the hot days. We needed a few items that we had forgotten and the office staff was able to provide them for us. The location to Sequoia Natl Park was perfect! I would highly recommend them.

We rented two cabins: Forest and Glacier. The cabins were clean and well stocked. Forest has AC units in each room. Glacier has a main unit but the upstairs rooms were a tad warm. The rooms with queen beds had fans. The bunk room did not. However we still slept comfortably. Shades and curtains in all the bedrooms for privacy and room darkening. Excellent staff ready to help with any needs. Parking lot is small and tight so just be prepared. Even so, we were able to park our large passenger van without issue.

We had a lovely stay at the Buckeye Tree Lodge and Cabins while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The rooms by the river are lovely and we enjoyed sitting out in the deck in the evenings. The front desk was super helpful offering dining suggestions and info about the parks. We even had an issue trying to find a cooler to transport our picnic lunch into the park each day and they helped us out tremendously. We would definitely stay there again if we ever get the chance to go back!

10th anniversary trip to Sequoia and King's Canyon NPs. We drove from Palm Desert and wanted to stay close to the park. The Buckeye staff create so many delightful surprises around every corner! (I will let the photos tell the story.) Clean, well maintained, focus on what is truly nice to have when traveling.

We stayed in the Columbine cabin. There is a nice deck with chairs and table. AC unit works very well. Lots of nice touches: real coffee beans, grinder, half/half, full length mirror behind the door. Shower is a nice size with beautiful rock mosaic floor; the shower head could use an update but worked fine. Full size refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The pillows weren't a favorite but those are subjective. Towels were quality. Delightful lady checked us in. You can sit beside the beautiful creek behind the motel. The restaurant next door's food was delicious so this is an awesome place to stay before and after visiting Sequoia NP. Oh, it was VERY clean. Soap and shampoo in the shower was quality. Lovely place to stay!

The cabins were nice. If you have any problems they addressed the concerns immediately. Great place to stay. Our original unit had a issue with the lights and had to have an electrician fix it. So they moved us to a nicer room with a view. It’s great staying at a place an having the owner address problems quickly.

We can't wait to go back! How it sits right on a beautiful river with gorgeous grounds makes it wonderful. Lace at the desk is very sweet and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and the closest you can get to the sequoia park entrance. Comfy bed and very nice linens.

Buckeye is the perfect location to visit Sequoia NP. The view from the back patio was just as amazing. Room size was very spacious. The bed was not that comfortable and the shower pressure was minimal. Food options are limited so we had to travel a few miles down the road. Overall I definitely would stay here again.
