The quintessential cabin in the woods - plus wifi and AC When my son saw the place his first words were "wow, this the most stereotypical cabin I can think of." I said "yeah that's why I chose it." Although I doubt Henry David Thoreau had AC and wifi. If you are looking to get back to nature and want a place that is clean, and comfortable, and provides what you need to cook, sleep, and bathe, without the distractions you may find in other rental "cabins," this is what you want. Our nearest neighbors were...not near...and the ranch itself offers so many cool things to see and do, I am surprised we made it to the park at all.

Relaxing retreat We loved the cabin and the location .It was the perfect relaxing getaway retreat. It allowed us the freedom to visit the parks and explore all the interesting stops in Three Rivers California. It made our first ever trip to California so enjoyable. All the suggestions that our hosts made about what to see was great! Can’t say enough good things! Hated to leave!!

A getaway from the crowds! Super cute cabin to stay in and come home to relax in peace after long days in the park. Some bugs in the cabin and lizards all around it, but you’ll have that in the country! Was a little disappointed, the ponds aren’t as advertised for fishing as they are not maintained and one pond isn’t available unless you rent the specific cabin close to it. Overall we had a blast though and the bed is comfortable.

Much needed getaway Our stay at the cabin was exactly what we needed it to be. My wife and I needed some reconnection time. The location was amazing and remote. The amenities of the cabin were perfect. Host was quick to respond to questions. Proximity to Sequoia was ideal and U even did some fishing in the “Deep” swimming hole spot. Thank you for giving us what we needed.

We liked the remoteness and the coziness of this cabin. There was firewood provided and a stove that we used to make grilled cheese sandwiches. We really enjoyed this secluded getaway!

Getaway to Sequoia Step back in time with a little log cabin and wood burning stove/heater. Off the main drag with abundant privacy. Less than an hour to General Sherman tree. Used the grill for dinners and enjoyed looking at that historic Sears Roebuck catalogue from 1908! Charmed!!

Secluded & Rustic Property was rustic and secluded. We enjoyed our stay there. Definitely lots of critters...coyotes, tarantula, & mice. Close to Sequioa NP. Parking in town was limited for restaurants but we managed. Beautiful view from front porch until mice came out at dusk.
