From the welcoming glass of champagne and cold lavender towel, you know this place is special. A large porch with comfy chairs and two fire pits to make s’mores are a great space to relax. Our room was immaculate. Definitely going back!

My spouse and I enjoyed our meal, the staff, and entertainment on the deck. We’ve never stayed at the inn but we will be back.

Beautiful old hotel with plenty of character. Do not expect perfect and new. With that being said, it was clean and comfortable. The window a/c unit worked fine. The restaurant had great food. NO ELEVATOR, but they did have staff carry our suitcases to the third floor. We were there for a wedding and everything was great - food, venue, service etc.

Rooms are $275 for a very small queen. Bathroom huge and beautiful, very clean. Room carpet was stained in at least 3 places, AC accordian shroud and window very dirty, cobwebs. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Breakfast cold and minimal, but they don’t say they offer it so it was a bonus. 3rd floor was very hot and room AC could not keep up, did not get much sleep. Very historic, beautiful hotel. Lower prices, deep clean hotel rooms, replace carpet, and offer hot healthy items for breakfast in the historic dining room, then this would be 5 stars.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Greeted with a glass of champagne. Very nice front desk staff. Enjoyed sitting on porch and enjoying the cool weather. My only complaint was size of room. Very very small. When I made reservations I inquired about the room and was told the one I booked was fine for my 6'3" husband. His feet hung off the bed. The bathroom was very small. The room was clean and tasteful but just very small. For one night it might be ok. I would have upgraded if I was told how small the " queen" bed was. Window air unit was very load but they did provide ear plugs :)

Historic building that is well maintained. The interior of the first floor is gorgeous. The only issue is, they dont have an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor and we are 71 and 70 years old.
