If you are going to Pilok, the accommodations are clean, the service is good, the service providers speak well and are friendly and can recommend many places to visit nearby. Small and very basic (but very inexpensive) room. Very clean. Small double bed, table, AC, TV (didn't try it), cool shower. Could connect to the wifi but had no internet. Only one available power point in the room, and it was 4 feet off the ground - bring a long cable! Good sized car park. Friendly, welcoming staff - not sure if they spoke English, I didn't try. Location is just adjacent to the public market. Be aware that in this town although you can get food during the morning and daytime, dinner time is tougher. There seems to be only one restaurant nearby, and it was closed for a holiday. There's always 7-11...

The room is clean, but we arrived late. No receptionist, no one came out. The atmosphere at night is very quiet.

I understand that the resort has been struggling because of the Pandemic for the last 2 years. The resort is very nice and quiet, perfect to relax and enjoy the pollution free area where you can spend vacation in the province.
