Mike Wiegele's cabins were the last overnight stay on our bus tour and it was unforgettable. The rooms were rustic but beautiful. The facilities were clean and the room was spotless. Breakfast in the main lodge was the crowning glory. As their website states, "the food alone is worth the trip." They even provided takeaway bags for the muffins if anyone wanted a late afternoon snack! The decor in the dining hall was spectacular, similar to the cabins but grander. Truly outstanding.

Disastrous service, completely overwhelmed by the recession. Restaurant closed. Reception also closed on Sundays. Unbelievable. It was lovely there in the winter, but unbearable in the summer because of the mosquitoes.

Positive: Decent rooms by Canadian standards. Negative: Incessant mosquitoes, no outdoor seating. Restaurant and spa closed. Staff completely overwhelmed, especially the reception. On the day of arrival for a two-day stay, the reception was closed from 7:00 PM, and the next day it wasn't open at all. No words...

Bungalows en rondins situés près d’un lac . Le nôtre avait trois chambres, et deux étages. Cuisine très complète avec frigidaire, cuisinière, micro-ondes, cafetière, lave-vaisselle. This is one of the best lodges I have ever stayed in. It maintains the rustic appeal of log cabin while also having modern appliances and renovated kitchens and bathrooms. The fireplace is great to use on cool evenings and the scenery outside is exquisite. The staff was friendly and courteous. I highly recommend staying here.

We hebben in MW resort een nacht geslapen. Het zijn kliene huisjes, gebouwd in de 20e eeuw. Schoon, oud, functioneel. Is natuurlijk bedoeld voor skiers die er overigens per helicopter op uit moeten om dat te doen. In de zomer valt er niets te beleven in Sun Peaks. Geen noemswaardige winkels en horeca voorzieningen. Is een gat. Zou er overigens zo weer boeken bij MW resort als ik echt in Blue River zou moeten verblijven.
