First of all, the drive to Alpine Meadows can be a bit taxing for some. We came from Clearwater as some had previously recommended. It is a rough track in parts, although wide enough for 2 cars, and it is basically 30 minutes each way “dead time” to go anywhere so once you are here you are unlikely to “nip out”for dinner. Having said that when you do get here, it is worth it. The location is superb by the lake. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing, free use of boating facilities, and lovely walks. The free breakfast was better than we expected and eating it on the patio one morning in the sunshine was idyllic. We also had dinner here on both nights , and on both occasions the food was excellent, so good in fact my wife had the same thing both nights. The staff in the restaurant and on site were extremely friendly and helpful, and really enjoyed our short 2 night stay. The only point I would make is that while our 1 bed cabin was lovely, it was not equipped for self catering, it did have a microwave implying we could cook our own meals if required. However, there was no cutlery or dishes. This was not a problem for us but this addition would be useful. Overall beautiful location, if want a relaxing few days, just the 30 minute drive to get anywhere. Thank you for an enjoyable 2 night stay.

So you are looking for heaven on earth? Come to Alpine Meadows Resort. A beautiful, tranquil spot with an extraordinary private lake. The cabins seem a little outdated on the inside but are fully equipped and well maintained. You’ll love it

This was a great place to have a family get together. Cabins are awesome, they provided canoes small equipment and lift jackets for the lake onsite. It is peaceful and serene. We fished. They have their own dock. The staff were absolutely great with all of our needs. They work hard to ensure our needs were met (provided chairs and table set up for dinner on outside for 15) We had a large 2 bedroom cabin and it was a great choice. Christina and Trevor and the rest of the crew were top notch, we will be returning again. Thank you for making our trip. Christine worked hard to make sure our bookings with family were within close proximity. The housekeeping staff were very good and work hard to get our cabin ready after a long drive. This place is really amazing. Our cabin had kitchen needs we required to cook a full meals. Very pleased. Trevor is very personable and made sure we had what we needed. Staff here are great. Thank you!

Went on a 4 night stay at the end of may. The resort was everything we needed and more. The drive from Clearwater was a breeze, even in the rain. Road is well maintained. We had a one bedroom with full kitchen, nice deck and a lake view. We cooked breakfast even though there was a free one available. Supper BBQed on the grill provided. The lake was fantastic but the fish didn’t cooperate with me. Got 2 anyway tried everything. The free use of a boat was nice and didn’t go in the canoes. The grounds are groomed with plenty of walking paths and spotless. The staff were great needed some supplies 2 days in and came right away to stock us up. Took a drive up to Dunn Lake, further up the road, and to the ferry. Was a good explore drive. Wells grey park is unreal. Went up to the end at Clearwater lake for a picnic and see the water fall. It was a fantastic 4 day getaway thanks to the resort and the area. Lots of animals and a mom and her 2 cubs was fun to watch. Even spent an afternoon on the pier out on the lake, had a picnic and fly fished. Thanks again for the great experience we will return. Do yourself a solid and go, won’t be disappointed.

A magnificent location and a lovely room but too inaccessible Dinner was good, though with a limited menu and eating elsewhere is a non starter Breakfast was sparse and well below the standard for a place this otherwise good

The cabins are absolutely beautiful as are the grounds. We found the restaurant to be very good though the breakfast that was part of the price was about the level of a chain motel. The resort has a lot of activity related things to do - kayaks, canoes, hiking trail, lots of games, ping pong, outdoor chess etc. It would have been helpful to have some minimal silverware and plates. They have a microwave but nothing to put stuff on. Lastly the have a large hot tub area which was closed with a sign that it was under repair. By the looks of the tub and surrounding area it looks as though it has been "under repair" for a long time.......That was disappointing......
