The front door staff, restaurant, room service and cleaning staff were wonderful and really helpful, but that is where the positives end. The hotel is extremely dated, with broken fixtures (ie. sockets) in the rooms, some rooms have certain features (minibar, hairdryer etc.) and others don't even if they are from the same class. The pool itself was cleanish, but the netting surrounding it to stop birds was torn, there was one sun umbrella that was ripped to shreds to offer shade. The front desk staff made many mistakes with my booking and extras. the restaurant/bar had very limited stock with a third of the drinks menu max available. The website and info in rooms is out of date (ie. opening hours to facilities). The spas cleanliness is not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel with unclean surfaces, mold and water stains on walls/ceiling and hygiene of products used during treatment was questionable. The location is great and as mentioned the support staff were lovely, but this should not be marketed as a 5 star hotel. I would definitely recommend looking at other 5 star hotels that are truly offering a 5 star service level.
