Six Senses Bhutan offers a stunning escape with its beautiful and serene views, lush greenery, and well-maintained surroundings. The location is excellent. The ambience is great. The rooms are spacious and cozy. There is an excellent, delicious, mouth-watering, and diverse food variety. There is a huge number of multi-cuisine options. There is a wide range of options to suit every taste. The hospitality is great. The staff is incredibly friendly, cordial, and attentive. Room service is extremely prompt. The amenities, like the spa and the relaxing swimming pool, make the property perfect for family getaways and peaceful retreats from city life. Staying here and spending time was a memorable experience. This place is a must-visit for family and friends. Special thanks to Dasho Sangay Wangchuk. We were there at his invitation, and he left no stone unturned to make our stay extremely comfortable and memorable. He and his staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the warm welcome to the seamless check-out, every aspect of our stay was top-notch. Five stars aren't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

Our visit to Bhutan in 2019 remains the most memorable trip we have ever experienced. The country’s natural beauty is breathtaking, and all Six Senses properties we stayed at were exceptional, offering outstanding cuisine and impeccable service. The experience continues to be unforgettable. The only area for improvement was the general cleanliness across the country, impacted by tourism, particularly from India. We hope the government has addressed or will address this issue to preserve Bhutan’s pristine charm. We are deeply grateful for our time at Six Senses Bhutan and look forward to returning.

I would like to leave a review of one of the most wonderful trips I have ever had! I am a coordinator at J'ma Company, where we regularly organize retreats to sacred places around the world and this time we chose the Six Senses chain of hotels for our group in Bhutan. First of all, this hotel has excellent service, very friendly, responsive and understanding staff and very stylish, comfortable and clean rooms - everything corresponds to the level of a 5-star hotel. As well as I would like to give special thanks to all the lodge managers, including: Mr. Sankhar Bir Darjee in Bumthang, Mr. Roy in Paro, Mr. Tshering Phuentso in Punakha, Miss Tashi Lhamo Gangtey and Mrs. Claudine Triolo! I have never met such responsive and friendly people anywhere in the world. Thank you for the wonderful work! We will definitely recommend this lodge chain to everyone and hope to come back again in the future!

My wife and I did the 12-day tour at the Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, Bhumtang and Paro lodges. It was absolutely spectacular. The lodges were all fantastic, most of them in stunning locations, with extremely friendly and competent service and excellent food (partly on a Michelin star level). Moreover, the program was were very well designed, with many highlights to experience the nature, culture, religion and life in Bhutan, including a long list of additional activities to chose from. We were also extremely happy with our guide (G Chencho), who was very knowledgable, very well organized, always helpful and always in for a good laugh, as well as our driver (Leki), who drove us very safely and securely. All in all, this was a very inspiring and memorable trip in a very beautiful country.

Of the Six Senses lodges we stayed at on our recent trip to Bhutan, the Paro lodge was our favorite. The general manager was a Bhutanese man who was seemingly everywhere--one moment supervising the gardners, the next moment greeting guests returning from excursions or chatting with guests while helping clear dishes at meals. His hands-on approach, energy and guest focus were impressive. We also enjoyed the food at the Paro lodge the most. The chef was a woman who came to our table and talked to us after several meals, and when we told her how much we liked one of her dishes she handwrote the recipe for us to take home. Her homemade pastas and desserts were exceptional! Our meal orders were guided by a knowledgeable server, Mendrel, who also came to our room with breakfast before our early morning hike to Tiger's Nest. The difference between a good hotel and a great hotel is the service, and the service at Six Senses Paro was some of the best we've encountered on our trips.

We stayed at 4 of the Six Senses hotels in Bhutan. Total 10 days of guided tours. The hotels were amazing. Spoiled us in every way possible. Even tough we booked a room for 2, since we had a problem sharing the room, they upgrade us for free to a 2 bedrooms villas. They did our laundry for free on every day that we asked. The private tour guide and the driver were amazing. They accommodated our requests and needs. One thing needs improvement from our point of view. Lights were too little in the bedrooms. We wished we were able to set the lights to a higher level when we needed it.

We stayed 6 nights in Bhutan at all Six Senses lodges. First night in Thimphu ( Palace in the Sky). the minute you arrive you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The lodge is high up on a hill looking over the valley, amazing views. Our room was all windows looking out to the valley, very quiet and very comfortable.

The six senses lodge in bumthang may be the most beautiful and relaxing forest hotel in the world with its beauty perfectly complimented by excellent and endlessly thoughtful and imaginative service The setting in a peaceful pine forest overlooking the river is the ideal place for a gorgeous wooden construction with soaring ceilings and floor to ceiling glass windows and large doors which open the sound of running water in the distance. From the moment you arrive you feel at home The staff are fabulous, attentive and creative, in the way that the ideal household staff would be Every member of the team is remarkable but the lodge manager Sankha Birdar Darjee was particularly welcoming from the first moment and arranged truly unique moments and went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of and happy at all times. In our case after we commented on the beautiful spot, the team quickly offered to arrange for u to have dinner down by the river even though they had only done it once before and with no notice put together a bbq and bonfire under the stars at a remote spot 15 minutes from the hotel Our family with two children 12 and 15 year old children had a truly magical evening and overall unique stay. Highly recommend using it as a base to do a variety of hikes. The food is great, much of the produce coming from the hotels garden, the cocktail unusual and excellent, and the day filled with thoughtful touches We didn’t stay at any other six senses property in Bhutan so the others may also be wonderful but Bumthang shouldn’t be missed.

Spent 7 days with Six Senses Bhutan. Visited Thimpu, Panaka and Paro. It was stunning really from start to finish. The staff were all trying very hard to be as helpful as possible. Panaka lodge stood out as the best hospitality we have ever received, anywhere, including compared to my own home. Our driver Yashi and hard working guide Kinley were a pleasure to have as company. Both were very professional from start to finish and could not have done more to be of help at every opportunity. Bhutan is an amazing place really...still processing it all and am definitely going to return one day. Although I haven't visited with any other providers, Six Senses did a very good job of showing us Bhutan! Only negatives; would have been nice to have had better seats on our Drukair flight and I was little bit disappointed this hadn't been thought of (as Six Senses booked our flights into the country) and the view was very poor from our villa at the Paro lodge. Being someone who admires an expansive vista (who doesn't though right...) and having requested this at booking it was a shame not to be able to stare down on the valley during our stay there. I'd have done so much staring given half a chance and possibly kept notes on what I saw to update my partner with at every opportunity, especially over dinner. Oh the missed intrigue. It could have been like a game of cluedo, or Where's Wally, or to a far lesser degree, Snakes and Ladders.
