My school and I went to this hotel for 5 days and we all thought it would be very good because it is a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately we were all disappointed. Yes, very kind staff, but nothing else... Very small rooms WITHOUT VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING, which resulted in the room smelling and being unbearably hot at noon and very cold at night. We had the window open all the time because of this event. So our things were easy to steal while a very bad smell of pus came in through the window, making the situation infuriating. The food did not go back in relation to the wretchedness of the rooms. A few things on the buffet and none of us would eat them if we weren't starving from walking and the fatigue of the excursion. Boiled spaghetti, meat that was like eating the sole of a shoe and salads that you couldn't chew because you were sick. The breakfast also nothing special, although a little better than the evening. The coffee was poor though. Essentially making up for it, we went to this hotel instead of going to other ones that were in the middle of the city, so that no child would sleep in a rancho. Unfortunately, our wish was not fulfilled and all the triple rooms had bunk beds, so necessarily one child out of three people had to sleep in a bunk bed. The water there was a thing to disappear and since there was no convenience store near the hotel to buy, we had to take it from the hotel. A large bottle of water cost 3 EUROS (!). The only justification of the staff in all of this is that it is a historical monument that has been operating since 1913. However, this does not detract from the valuable amount we paid to stay there and how much below our expectations the hotel was. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone considering the value for money…
