Hotels near Big Time Hub (Θεσσαλονίκη), Thessaloniki

This hotel is so clean and friendly. The rooms are small but oh the beds!! So comfy i didnt want to get up. The bathrooms are also small and not a lot of room to move about but adequate for one :) the room was made up every day. We had a balcony that again small but adequate for 2 to sit out on. This is a city break hotel. There are no beaches near by, it would be 35 mins in a car to the nearest. We spend 6 nights here. We found a lovely place called the AVENUE by the umbrellas design. It had amble seating outside and was very popular by locals. It overlooked the sea, we recommend going here if you want to relax. The breakfast was continental with some hot food but not much, scrambled egg and mini sausages. There was no toast !! The breakfast choice for us was a little disappointing so we did not go on 3 days of our stay. For those who like to have a kettle, bring your own as there is no room facilities. Luckily mum had bought her travel one and tea bags !! There is a small fridge in the room too. We had a comfortable stay here and walked so much as there is a lot to see here. Restaurants are plentiful nearby, just across the road 20 steps away is a fab restaurant Kanoula that was perfect.

Dissapointing! They pretend to be an exclusive boutique hotel and that’s what you pay for. But the experience is not. I asked them to arrange an airport taxi and they said it was going to be approximately €30, when I arrived it turned out to be a normal taxi and when I arrived after 20 minutes the metre said €20,50, but I had to pay €30 because it was a “fixed” price. They told me it’s because it’s an airport taxi and they charge more. My room was nice, but there was a strange smell in the room. The staff said it was cleaning product, but it smelled more like smoke or sweat. After opening the windows one full day the smell was gone. There were some malefunctions on the blinds in the room and I didn’t get clear instructions of how to open the windows (an electric system) when I asked if I could open them, they said it was not possible because of safety reasons. Airco was noisy, street sounds noisy. They provide earplugs. Breakfast was nice and staff was attentive in general. Location is convenient. After checkout I had to pay €7 per night (€14) extra on city taxes. On their website it says clearly that ALL taxes are included. When I mentioned this they didn’t took any responsibility and said that this is the same in all hotels. It’s not true, I stayed in another (better) hotel after this 2 nights, for the same price and everything was included. I’ve send an email about this and I didn’t get any response. They don’t take any responsibly with complaints. This is not the service that I expect from a “luxury” boutique hotel for this price and I would definitely recommend to choose an other hotel!

Very good hotel. It was a great experience. We got a free upgrade to a higher class room. The room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning and tv functioned correctly. Breakfast was fulfilling for its price. P.S. The personnel of the hotel even prepared breakfast for us because of our early check-out.

Old hotel. Experience authentic European hotel services. The room was small and the sound insulation was a little bit worse. In the downtown area, it was a bit noisy downstairs. Breakfast was ok but could be better.

Location is wonderful, walking to many sites, 15 min to sea side, Aristotle Sq. Clean and new premises. Service friendly, willing to find solutions to requests. For my breakfast of Non Gluten, No Lactose, the dining room hostess offered Rice milk, and told the kitchen. Each day the kitchen cook came out with my omelet and Gluten Free bread. The Roof offers a charming calming venue, hostess knowledgeable in Tourism, helpful for touring advise. Reception staff were always assisting in logistics. Interesting Smart hotel, value for price

Its location, albeit not with a great view and quite noisy, was very convenient and easy to connect to the rest of the city-centre, because of the public transport stops nearby. The room was spotless and the house-keeping was excellent. The only issue with the room was its not having hot water all the time and the WiFi being unstable, at times. The breakfast was quite good and offered plenty of options; the dining hall was beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful and provided an understanding listening ear for any issues there might had been. The reason for the 4 stars, instead of 5, is that I would prefer that there were more languages spoken in the hotel, to make it more accessible. We needed 2 hotel rooms for one night In Thessaloniki close to the airport to catch a morning plane as we were returning from Thassos on the way to the UK. Rotonda was very affordable, easy parking and had really nice, clean and comfortable rooms with everything working. Very nice breakfast and breakfast area. The staff were very nice practical and helpful. The area is quiet so we got a good nights sleep. Cannot recommend more given the market positioning and price.

Nous étions en voyage organisé, cet hôtel est superbe, situé sur les hauteurs dans le quartier huppé de la ville que nous voyons de la terrasse. Excellent dîner, cocktails, petit-déjeuner, chambre spacieuse, excellente literie, personnel au top. Je recommande.

This is a lovely hotel— spacious well-appointed rooms, little balconies (but no outdoor furniture), nice breakfast buffet, welcome snacks, lemon water in the lobby, nice courtyard area. BUT it is in a desolate flat commercial wasteland of abandoned buildings, grubby auto shops & even the occasional streetwalker behind the hotel.I’m not saying the area isn’t safe (as an American, I was probably much safer here than at home), but it is almost a 3km walk to anything of interest as a tourist. unless you are attending a conference onsite (as we were), you can find cheaper hotels in more attractive neighborhoods closer to town.

I am starting the second week of my stay at the Royal Hotel in Peraia, having decided after a somewhat difficult year to spend a fortnight on.my own. I have been to Greece many times, but not to central Macedonia. I did my 'due diligence , and the Royal Hotel was the only one that fulfilled all of my criteria. Over the years, primarily on business, I have stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world. The excellence of service and the value For money here, would be incredibly difficult to surpass. Regrettably the staff will have (DV) to endure me for another fortnight, next June .......
