Be Aware Our room was fine BUT we did not like the $30. Resort tax slapped on to 160. We were told he had to charge it. It is NOT a resort! Bad business practise! Great location hard to recommend.

Very nice, cozy, beautiful view, but left much to be desired for the price. The rooms sound too much and intense smell of fungus type humidity, it leaves all your things with the smell of moisture. Too noisy, not recommended if you really want to rest. They do not provide any food service, like breakfast or something for the price you pay. It could be improved, as it has potential

Only stopped in to enjoy the restaurant at 8pm. The sign outside and on the website states they are open until 9pm and yet we were turned away without even offering takeout. When I mentioned that the sign said they were open until 9pm the man just said, well, that's outside. Too bad as we thought we might like to visit this place someday and will never go there again after being treated this rudely.

I am so disgusted and offended with the front desk service. I was double-charged for a room and the attendance refused to refund me the difference. It was a booking issue on the hotel's end and he refuses to accept responsibility despite admitting fault over the phone in our first conversation about it. Since the ownership/management has changed in recent years, there is a very palpable change in customer service and standards. I am sure if he even sees this, he will simply dismiss me and/or try to put it back onto me. Totally unacceptable and I will be pursuing this with the credit card company, which will then take it up with him.

The property was very run down. The exterior paint was peeling everywhere on the building and the parking lot was littered with hundreds of cigarette butts. The bushes on brush on the back side of the building blocked the view of the lake. I was told our room had a patio with chairs to sit and view the lake, which was untrue. The motel is right next to a very busy highway. The deadbolt lock on our room did not work. We were charged a separate resort fee for amenities like the beach that we did not use due to the cold weather at this time of year. The linens and bath towels were cheap and worn. I would not recommend staying at this property.
