A good clean resort at the center of the town but still close to nature. View points are quite nearby.
Food is not luxury levels. Though simple, its healthy food.
They have a good clean swimming pool.
I wouldn't recommend the spa though.

Estuvimos en The Elephant Court. El hotel estuvo bien, salvo que había muy poca variedad en el menú. El menú de alimentación y desayuno fue deficiente y en general muy local. El personal del hotel en general fue cordial . La zona es hermosa con su lago , sus parques y animales. Los masajes estuvieron bien, pero nada especial.

I recently stayed at Abad Green Forest, Thekkady and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with calm green surroundings and beautifully maintained grounds. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.
The resort offers a wide range of activities, from spa treatments, pool, campfire, nature walks, and the dining options were excellent—especially Kerala Parata (Its very soft) and Butter Chicken is also a tasty one.
Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and I would highly recommend Abad to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation.

very nice place to stay..Property is well maintained and greenery is all around. Food quality is very good.. staffs are very cooporative.
Property does not have bar facility (they don't serve hard drinks).

The stay at Abad Green forest was good.Very calm and peaceful atmosphere,giving a experience of living very close to nature.We can enjoy the greenery of nature.The staff was very friendly,Room service is good.The Ayurvedic treatment is also very good.Overall experience is nice.

I had a pleasent stay. If you are looking just for an accomodation, this is a nice place. Room was neat and clean, with a spacious balcony. Staff were very helpful and polite.
Though the resort is in the middle of Kumily town, you won't feel it once you enter the resort. You will feel like you are somewhere near the forest. It has a nice forest like ambience. If you are from Kerala, you will feel more like staying at your home. But if you are born and bought up in a city, you will like it.
But if you are looking to spend some time in the resort, this is not a place for you. The resort doesn't have any amenities apart from a swimming pool. I would recommend it only for people looking for a place to sleep and plans to spend rest of their time outside.

The overall experience was good the hotel is very close to the market and accessible to all the spots. The rooms are clean and good though initially i was not satisfied with the room but then they changed it, breakfast spreads very good
