Great location, appalling service. After booking we were told the restaurant had closed. Very inconvenient- we couldn’t even get water. Wifi poor, rooms made up only occasionally. Very tired decor, rusty fridge etc. Extremely poor value for money- don’t book here!

We booked this Air BnB for the week of March 3rd-10th in room #24. Nothing to complain about, just some things to be made aware. Pros... *Balcony facing the ocean has a beautiful view!!!! *Right on the beach with access down a short pathway and a couple steps...just be careful it is a bit if big step down and thebwater comes right up to the steps. *Just off the main road where you can access the taxi vans. It is a bit of a small hill to get to the top of driveway. *walkable distance either on the main road or along the beach to get to restaurants, grocery stores etc. *bed was comfortable, pillows....meh! *comes with a kitchen, coffee maker, toaster/toaster oven, fridge and dishes. *room is refreshed every other day (sheet change, garbage, TP refill *television and wifi *laundry service for a few dollars *AC worked well. *windows in the bedroom *Closet but with minimal hangers *dresser with 6 drawers Cons.... *very outdated. *stairs....no elevators *only 1 bath towel per person *beach towels not available in the room, must request them *keyed entry and you only get one set. We did ask for a second set which they did provide *balcony door is knob locked from the inside, accidentally locked the knob and my friend got stuck out there....and I took the keys LOL. This should really be changed for safety reasons. *minimal supplies supplied, even though we confirmed these things would be supplied by email...no salt/pepper, no paper towel, no coffee filters, small bars of soap, no liquid hand soap. No dish towel or rag. We were provided a used sponge and fabric place mat as a dish towel. *customer service from the front desk can use some work. *low water pressure most of the time *clogged toilet a couple times *pack your patience! *no broom to clean up sand in the room The room could use more hooks, shelves or towel racks to utilize. Also a bed side lamp would be useful. Overall had a decent time at this air bnb. It does need updating but its functional and clean. Its in a great location and beautiful view which you can't beat for the price we paid. Next door is Silversands resort that charges $1000/night which is literally right next door with the same view, same beach, same sunsent, same sand...and we paid $120usd a night

We had a bad experience at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable but very basic and the bathroom not clean so we decided to move hotels after a couple of days. The guy on reception double charged us and when we realised and went back to query it, he denied we had paid him cash. Was a very upsetting experience and we were saddened that they gave such a poor impression of the island which is lovely. We asked the police to help us and they sorted it all out and were fabulous. If we could a review for them it would be very positive.

We took a chance on this place even though there seemed to be significant variability in the reviews we read. But, the good definitely stood out  by the end of our visit. No staff was there to initially check us in when we arrived. We arrived on the day after boxing day (a day when many businesses on island are closed). We had made certain to email them of our arrival day & time with ample time before our arrival date.  We were checked in by a long term renter who had little information for us and the information she provided us with initially was incorrect (she tried to put us into room 27 [non ocean facing] when we had booked an ocean facing room [24]). We were very happy with our room as it had a nice balcony view overlooking the water. The kitchen was outside as well and we appreciated the setup (you can wash your dishes as you admire the water from the kitchen window). We were provided a majority of the basic items for cooking. The bedroom area was reasonably spacious with a closet and dresser included. The TV worked fine to fall asleep to with an adequate variety of channels but slightly limited volume. The wifi was pretty consistently strong. Besides that, it was hard to initally get much information from the renter who  checked us in & noone else was around to provide basic info. We were only given some limited vague information  re:  the general area. We were thus happy to be in a location where things weren't too hard to figure it out.. There are nearby restaurants and a supermarket. Interactions with the staff after that first day were fairly good. The location is fantastic because you are at the north end of Grand Anse beach. Just a short walk through the surf along the beach gets you to to the center of the beach with the major supermarket at Spiceland mall easily accessible from the beach.  We had some of enquiries of the staff the next day that included the safe key, a coffee machine as well as an oven pan. These were all provided the same day as the request. We also requested beach towels and those were fairly promptly provided.  Lamentably, we were never able to get the oven to work, despite instruction requests via whatsapp and the following day from the house cleaner. As DW is always in the kitchen and enjoys cooking on vacation, she made due. We ate several meals in our room (there is a pretty decent smaller supermarket nearby as well....fairfood) and reheated leftovers from our meals out using the stovetop and a microwave. Our room was cleaned every 2 days or so. Water pressure was variable but typically decent enough when we were a bit patient. We also had a list of tour guides and taxi drivers from  the office which came in handy. it was a pleasure to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view of the water and the sound of the waves. in light of the current covid situation, we passed on the buses that stopped regularly on the main road. We were pleasantly surprised on New Year's Eve as we had front row seats to the

This was my first visit to Grenada and a solo trip. From my research i realized Grand Anse was the place to be. After my vacation got postponed by 2 weeks the hotel rates all went up. I wanted the bulk of my budget to go to experiences and dining so i looked into smaller hotels and guest houses and this property was the only one directly on the beach. The property is more guest house than hotel. Extremly clean, quiet and safe. And located right on the beach. I booked an ocean front appartment for the sunset and the amenities of a full kitchen. I had a packed schedule planned and wanted to have my breakfasts in room before leaving for the day. Grocery and food delivery were quite easy. Reception wasn't opened at the times stated on this app. As long as you manage your expectations (no restaurant on property) this property is ideal.

The location is perfect, room 24 on the second floor overlooking Grand Anse bay. Room is basic but very clean and has everything you need plus that incredible view, watching sea turtles pop their heads up just off the beach. Staff lovely, very helpful. We would certainly stay here again!

People at the hotel were great! The room was spacious . It would be nice if there was easier beach access from the hotel and shampoo/conditioner available for guests. Reasonable price too! They use ECD. eastern Caribbean currency. If you use American dollars be certain they don’t have any tears because the banks will not accept them and the vendors won’t take them. There are also many tame stray dogs roaming the beaches. Great waterfalls to hike too. The food is awesome; lots of great fresh fish!

Ok first of all if you want pristine then this is not the place for you however if you want fabulous views, incredibly helpful staff and to be able to walk Grand Anse Beach every morning and do t want to be in an hotel that could be anywhere in the world then stay here. It’s quirky a bit faulty towers meets marigold hotel but we loved it. We had a two bedroom self catering apartment with two bathrooms. Yes there were some faults given the age of the building but that’s what we loved about this place and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. The frogs are very nosy however but that’s part of the charm 😎

Holes in the sheets, curtain rod fell and no place to get a coffee. Clean rooms, polite staff, close to the beach
