A year ago we found this lovely gem and we did not hesitate to return. Villa Kaya suits our needs perfectly and provides the ideal setting to enjoy our last few days in Grenada. Mia, the hotel manager welcomed us back with open arms. We arrived on Grenada’s Independence Day holiday and as we waited for our room to be ready Mia offered us some juice, cake and Grenada’s national dish called Oil down, a nice little treat. Shortly after, we settled into the Seashell villa like we had never left! The bed is so comfortable, I wish we could take it home! During this stay we experienced quite a few rain showers and it was lovely observing them from the dry and comfort of the huge covered deck area of the Seashell villa. Once again we enjoyed taking out the paddle boards in the bay and stopping for lunch and rum punch at La Plywood beach bar. The iRocker inflatable paddle boards and paddles are now on their second year and are holding up well although they are beginning to show signs of wear and tear. The breakfast spread was lovingly prepared by Agatha and it was nice to chat and catch up. Housekeeping by Karina and Madonna is exceptional and everything is spotless. Kalim helped us with our bags upon leaving and ensured we were comfortable as we waited for our taxi. Thank you Mia and your team for another wonderful stay, an experience that feels like a home away from home!
