YHA Broad Haven

Excellent from start to finish. Brilliant landpod and amazing customer service and facilities. Great to have a fire pit. Really close to the beech. Excellent communal kitchen and lovely hot chocolate. Clean, tidy and unusual fun accomodation. Thank you.

A well run hostel close to the centre and a short walk to a large beach with a blue flag. The staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in a all male dorm room num 5. which had a shower and a toilet. My lower dorm bed was comfy with fine linen. It also had lockers under the bed. There was a good bar with a lounge room. The kitchen was large and well equipped. An expensive supermarket is a 10 min walk away. A good pub is next to the supermarket. Well done YHA.

Our family spent five nights at the YHA in a five-person room. Check-in went very smoothly. The room itself was probably the only minor disappointment of the trip. It was quite small, there were damp bubble spots on the wall and very limited storage for clothes. The shower was fine although it was a shower room with no screen, meaning everything in the bathroom got soaked and quite regularly the water would leak out under the door onto the carpet. We had dinner the first night which for what it was was fine though we did not eat there again nor have breakfast. The self-catering facilities were very good and clean with all the required utensils, crockery and cutlery. The main selling points was the location which was stunning. And the staff. We dealt a lot with Grace and Amy and both were superb, kind and courteous. So thank you for making our trip so goooooood. Another YHA hostel that I would happily return to

We came here for breakfast baps and coffee and again for coffee and cake. Decent coffee and the only recommendations I would make would be to make breakfast available beyond 9am during the week and to have milkshakes on the menu for the little ones. Sometimes this place is closed off if there are school trips taking place there, we were caught out on this last year when we tried to get breakfast. This year we appeared at various times of the day only to find the kitchen was closed. The menu on display outside is a little misleading making it look like they serve food all day. The YHA is also the starting point for some walks/trails.

Very fulfilling time, great staff, funky hostel, lovely coastal area. Kitchen facilities good, all areas well kept, felt safe/secure, would definitely recommend. Even though some of the sleeping areas seem old school yha (we have stayed in some very modern ones) there was not complaints on the actual room, we slept well and what we needed.

Filthy ! Definitely not luxury … broken beds…x2… unable to sleep in them, heavily blood stained duvet.. health hazard , Dirty,soiled mattresses which are not protected by protective covers .. The oven was broken as the door wouldn’t shut. Batteries removed out of fire alarm.A glass table in the second lounge which was on the verge of collapsing.. the fire in the same lounge didn’t work ( was advertised as a gas wood burning type stove) Had to call the owner out on Boxing Day as the beds were not fit for purpose.. he put screws through the carpet in front of the legs to stop the beds collapsing forwards and put breeze blocks under the beds to support them … hardly luxury! The agent was VRBO who have not printed my review.. ! He blocked me so it couldn’t be accepted!

Location is ideal for beach lovers, hikers . We didn't get to have any sunny day during our stay, so couldn't avail the stay to its full. The view from the dining hall is amazing. There is Londis at 5 min walk for essential grocery. There are other stores like Morrisons, Aldi about 10min drive away. To get boat trip for Skomer island , it was a 15 min drive. It was a peaceful location so anyone wanting a break from a busy city life, would love this place.

Travel cot in our private ensuite. Easy parking. Short walk to the beach and coastal path. A really nice playground just up the hill too. Self catering worked really well for us and a lovely garden to eat in. Didn't try the on-site food but looked good.
