Rooms clean, but a little tired; there is no on site catering so you are given a voucher for one of 3 local eateries; the food was good in all of them. The pool was always quiet and our ground floor room had a shady terrace. A short walk to the beach where there were plenty of loungers for guests of Grace Bay Suites.

My 7-night stay at The Grace bay suites hotel was a fantastic experience. The cleanliness, friendly staff, and handy amenities made it a place. I’d gladly recommend. The location is great, and they provide everything we needed, including parkin, umbellas and beach towels . Overall, it felt like paradise, and I can’t wait to return.

If you're looking for a high-end place to stay, Grace Bay Suites (GBS) is likely not for you; however, if you are looking for a place that is clean, centrally located, reasonably priced (by Turks & Caicos standards), and has good staff, then you may want to consider GBS. The rooms are nice, not top of the line, but nice. The pool is small(ish) and not heated, but that isn't a big deal for the area. They do have bicycles you can use, plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas at the beach, which is about a 5-minute, leisurely walk, away. There are also 2 kayaks (one tandem and one single) you can use at the beach. We had a few minor "issues" with the room, but nothing that really affected our stay. Overall, we were satisfied and happy with our stay. We would consider staying here again if/when we visit Turks & Caicos again.

The location is as good as it gets in Grace Bay! There are numerous restaurants in easy walking distance! It’s off Grace Bay Road right behind Danny Buoy’s Sports Bar! It’s not fancy, but the rooms are comfortable and roomy enough. There is beach access only about 5 minutes away. The staff is courteous and friendly and they offer a pool and parking. A breakfast voucher for $20 or $30 off depending on which restaurant you choose is a perk too!

This was my second time in Turks and it was a far contrast from my first stay. The boutique hotel I stayed at previously was closed for renovations (something this hotel my want to consider). I booked based on the overall positive reviews and was definitely not impressed. I should have believed the negative reviews. I typically travel solo and I"m thankful I wasn't this time. If I was I would have checked out and taken the loss of money. Thankfully I had a friend with me. I just didn't feel comfortable or safe. Check in process was good, the young lady at the desk was pleasant and friendly. However, the hotel was anything but modern. The room I was initially giving had a smell and the mattress had huge stain on it. It was just not what I was use to.I wanted to cry. I ended up going to the beach to try and make the most of it. I contacted Delta who I had booked the room through but I could not get a refund so I was forced to stay. I will say after being contacted by delta/expedia, the hotel did change the room. The new room itself was pleasant and was useful for sleeping and showering but the patio furniture was filthy. We didn't use it. Didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. The last night, we heard someone at our door, end up having to place the furniture by the door to get some sleep. Because of its location, the rooms are easily accessible to everyone. The positives are the location. The beach about 2-3 mins walk. They had towels and lounges. the hotel is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the grocery store. They do also give breakfast vouchers. Overall, the hotel just needs a full renovation. It has potential but this is not a place I would stay again. I would gladly pay more to stay somewhere else and be comfortable.

Grace Bay Suites is in a central location on Grace Bay Road, but is actually a bit hard to find as the signage is not prominent - it’s actually tucked in behind Danny Buoys restaurant and shares parking with the restaurant. It has its own pool, which I was able to make good use of, but it’s a 5 min walk to the Grace Bay beach, where there are dedicated beach chairs for the hotel guests. No restaurant onsite, but the room has a small fridge, and there’s a microwave by the reception. The room itself is spacious, although furnishings are a bit dated - the shower door wouldn’t close, and bed mattress was too high, felt like I was climbing into bed every nite. The hotel stay comes with a breakfast voucher for one of the 3 nearby restaurants (Shay Café, Lemon2Go, Island Scoop). We went to Shay Café every day as it has an extensive menu (voucher is for $10 pp and comes with a small coffee or tea). Food at Shay Café was delish and it was a great start to the day. Also, note that there are 3 floors with no elevators, so if you have lots of luggage or have trouble with stairs, request a ground floor. Overall, a good stay.

Arrived 8/1/2024. 1- When I arrived the Hotel this establishment was NOT located on the side of the road. For the price, honestly the place was very shabby and behind a restaurant. This should be made aware to travelers for safety reasons. 2- As I know, stairs are common on the Turks Island, the walkway and laundry room was not appealing and more importantly as a woman at night I did not feel safe. The housekeeping cart was outside the whole night, very unkept. 3- Hotel located next to and in the back of different stores. Please note, the pictures are not as described. Yes it is close to other stores but for the price listed, it’s not appealing. 4- The pool was very very small. Not as shown on the website. Very disappointed. I noticed a man watching 2 ladies and a little girl while in the pool. Very creepy. 5- The welcoming was very bland. No welcome drinks… just bland. Especially for the price. 6- I noticed this place is for a younger crowd. Please note, as a traveler I do not look to discriminate any businesses or establishments but this is not a 4 star establishment. I would not recommend. Too much money for very little aesthetic and comfort. THIS IS A HONEST REVIEW. I am open for any feedback because I am a lawyer. Pick your hotel very wisely. Not all resorts are 4 and 5 stars based on safety and visual concept. 7- This only good think about this hotel is location. Besides that, I define my think it serves more modern renovations.

Misrepresented - The pictures only show you the front of this hotel (motel). The entrance is located near the back of a restaurant and some abandoned buildings and a long alleyway at the back of the hotel - an unsafe feeling at night. Please keep in mine, when you see 3 star hotel, believe it. Upon check-in, the front desk is not welcoming but first ask for your credit card and ID. The pool is very small, fit maybe 10 people. We had a room on the second floor and there were old washing machines and a dirty laundry room exposed. The doors do not have proper locks and you must keep you room key inserted in the electrical outlet to keep the air conditioning and lights on - late at night, this is an inconvenience. There was no coffee/tea maker or frig. The balcony had too much furniture and the shower had a weird shower head. The locals call this "the local motel at night". A budget friendly hotel for sure. We checked out the same day of arrival.

GBS are everything they advertise to be , a lower cost option to all the super expensive resorts in T&cs. The hotel and grounds are small but everything was very clean. The staff was super friendly and especially Ebony the hotel manager at the front desk. She was helpful and very patient. Any time we had questions or a small concern they were listened to and handled professionally. We had breakfast at Shay’s and The Sandbox, both places were good but we preferred sandbox. The vouchers cover some of the cost but we expected to pay part of it , which wasn’t a lot . It’s true the govt should clean up that walkway to the beach , but the beach itself was gorgeous with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The pool is small but clean. The hotel is super convenient to shops and many restaurants as well as the ****** at the Ritz Carlton. This was our 3rd trip to T&Cs and our first at GBS. We will definitely be back !
