Perfect for a relaxed holiday
Lovely little spot pushed back from Thasos town. Decently easy to walk to from the port (though maybe not with kids). The stay was incredibly relaxing. We stayed on property all 4 days because the beach was so beautiful and the water was so clear we didn’t feel a need to go to a different area. The food options are decent and the alcohol is reasonably priced. Would come back here again.

A piece of paradise in the middle of pine forest, yet so close to the port. A true gem with a spectacular sea and pearly sand beach, nice rooms with exquisite architecture. However, the staff apparently are not as accustomed to international guests as they should be. Housekeeping sometimes needs a reminder; there is a serious bee and mosquito problem. It is almost impossible to dine or have a drink outdoors.I personally got my share of bee sting at the beach shower 🙃. In general, I would comment that the food is acceptable for families with young children, but both open buffet and the tavern is far from satisfactory for the experienced traveler. A fair note for the management : it would be a nice gesture for your guests from Turkey who comprises a good 20-40% of your high season guests if you signify the pork-containing foods at the open buffet. A good internal education for the staff is advisable about not to be prejudiced against certain groups, service, food and beverage culture.

Έχοντας δοκιμάσει ήδη τη φιλοξενία και την οργάνωση του Μακρύαμμος πριν 2 χρόνια, όταν πήγαμε με το πρώτο μας νήπιο, αποφασίσαμε να πάμε ξανά και φέτος. Επιπλέον στις θετικές μου κριτικές από τότε, φέτος εντυπωσιάστηκα από την υποστήριξη και τη βοήθεια των υπευθύνων λόγω του δεύτερου νηπίου μας. Με μεγάλη τους χαρά και ευκολία, μας τοποθέτησαν σε πιο βολικό δωμάτιο για τις μετακινήσεις μας με καρότσι, από αυτό στο οποίο αρχικά μας είχανε βάλει. Όλα τα άλλα είναι γνωστά. Υπέροχο φαγητό, οργανωμένη παραλία, καθαριότητα, ευγένεια. Τα παιδιά μας το καταευχαριστηθηκαν

Amazing place, excellent staff, the place it is quite unique. The beach/sand very clean, same for the water. The food was very good, the accomodation was excellent (we had a junior suite apartment, very spacious and modern). The bungalows are like in the pictures, inside of a small forest. I will return for sure.

An absolutely amazing place. Very good service & wonderful array of food. Accommodation as bungalows and set amongst the hills & trees was a different experience. Golf buggies offering free transport for guests was a nice surprise I would highly recommend Makryammos, Thassos & would definitely go back there
