I had an excellent stay—far beyond the level of a three-star hotel. Although the building is a bit old, it is well-maintained, neat, and clean. The staff is very supportive and always ready to assist. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, as it is very close to the Big Temple and the city, making it convenient for sightseeing. Overall, a great experience with good hospitality!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was good and comfortable. The wardrobe, the mini fridge, the electric kettle etc were all well utilised by us. The AC had been set at 16*C. It was very chill and we had to set it at 24as it was very chill. The optimum temperature is 22- 23. With this the hotel can also save on power consumption. The shower cubicle lacked a small raised area for resting our feet (for soaping). At least an 18" stool can be placed for place our feet for soaping/ applying lotion. We had ordered rumali roti, but it was very dry, The replacement to it sent was also dry. But the other items were yummy. Smiling staff and a beautiful lobby made it more pleasant.

Stay was comfortable and flights were very smooth. The cars rental rates are very high. We were compelled to use other source, though we would have preferred a complete package.

Always Good and honest by jayaprakash i will also refer our friends to come layam bar. Ac is good, hospitality good, watching ipl in big screen those are all good. Ambiance good service also good most of that very friendly to do service keep well thank you guys

The bar service & ambience is excellent & the staff is very kind especially jayaparaksh.. Such a nice person.The side dish are very nice & the chilli panneer is very good taste. The rest rooms are fantastic. Last but not least the janitor work is very good.. Loved them.. They are very keen to clean the specific part of the tap also.

I’m giving it 5* because I had a great experience with the service. When I found the food I ordered for dinner in the restaurant a bit spicy and just wanted some yogurt to balance it out, the manager insisted on replacing it and even gave me some nibbles while I waited. Very kind of him. Also had a good experience with the laundry service. Everyone else was also very helpful. Otherwise, the hotel gets the job done well but is not a special experience. The rooms are fine but the decor is very ordinary, perhaps dated. No problems with cleanliness or anything functioning. But it’s not a luxury experience. It’s a top hotel in Thanjavur and I have no complaints whatsoever but set your expectations accordingly.
