Room was not very clean and had a stale smell. We booked for two nights. Very small bathroom but had a spacious living room area.

We stayed at the Sunset motel last weekend along with our furry boy and enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere. Beddings and bathroom were top notch and we look forward to come back and stay there.

Ww had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Sunset Motel by the ocean in Coromandel. The location was stunning, right by the water, offering peaceful views and a calm atmosphere. Hosts were brilliant! Everything about the stay was excellent—perfect for a tranquil getaway.

Great budget motel. Had everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. I had some trouble with the heat pump as it was Very cold when I stayed. But it got sorted so no complaints. I would stay again as I like Thames. Excellent base for the Coromandel area.

The unit was clean and well presented. The bed was comfortable with excellent pillows. Thoughtfulness was great, as the unit heating was on before we arrived and it was lovely and warm, thank you. This unit had everything we needed. A nice and quiet location in June.
