It was nice stay. The location was not that great. Breakfast was not buffet but with nice view though the weather was bad that time. The kettle has leftover water and has a lot of scales. The changing room and the showers in the pool was freezing.

Just completed a 2 night / 3 round golf break there. Very friendly and efficient staff, very comfortable rooms, nice food and an interesting and enjoyable golf course (try the home made sausage rolls there!). Planning a return trip next year.

Came here with a friend for the day to use the pool/spa and have a nice two course meal. The spa had friendly and welcoming staff, but the furniture could really use an update, and there also wasn’t enough poolside furniture, making it difficult to relax comfortably. While the spa treatment itself was quite good, it was disappointing to have to shower off afterwards in a shower that appeared dirty and stained. Additionally, the pool was rather average in terms of size and ambiance, and didn’t quite meet our expectations. The food was pretty good, however one of the dishes was overcooked which ruined the flavour. Overall 3/5 stars - there are better places which are worth your money

Never have I seen a business try so hard to kill its own Golden Goose. The prices charged for everything are beyond eye watering and they even have the audacity to add 10% service charge for anything ordered in the dining room. Such extortionate pricing spoiled the entire break for me and annoyed me so much that I couldn't really see any positives. Even the staff were apologetic for the drinks prices and agreed that they should have told us the prices before we ordered. A spike bar snack lunch, drinks with evening meal, halfway hut stop twice and after golf drinks twice for 4 people was the thick end of £300. The rooms were nice but lacking in bathroom toiletries. Dinner was nice but breakfast was meagre and disappointed. Leslie on reception was delightful and very professional and the sole reason for me not giving a 1 star review. I would never go back again nor would I recommend it to anyone but would never say do not go there; just be very mindful that you will have open wallet surgery performed on you.

We visited the Hotel for my Birthday , our room was spacious and immaculate . Dinner food was good as was the wine. Great selection of hot and cold food on Breakfast. Treatments were first class . Great service from team and Tom the Operations Manager.
