Baymont by Wyndham Texas City

I am going to keep it real with everyone don’t come here.. even if it’s your last resort .. when our family of 5 checked in the man that helped up was nice but from there the hotel went down hill . The beds we got were both queens and we were only staying there for two nights so we did not need much but the beds are the worst they feel like a rock .. the vents were rusty … but my siblings loved the pool but they are toddlers so hey a pool is like the only thing that they loved going in .. they whole hotel needs remodeling it looks very vintage and old .. and this is where I wanted to pack things up and get the heck out of there so I what just watching my phone on the couch and next thing I know there are living bugs crawling on my neck and that’s where I drawl the fine line … so if you want my advice stay away from this hotel 🏨 .. this is not a place I would ever let/ advise any family to come stay in.

Beds/bedding/pillows are comfy!! It’s a clean hotel. Pool was a good temp. We are military & had a scheduling mishap and I was past our free cancellation time, but they were still able to accompany us for different days no hesitation. 2nd time with baymont hotels and both times the customer service has been superior! I enjoyed how quiet this hotel was as well. It is about 20 minutes out from Galveston Seawall, but we didn’t mind. Housekeeper was really nice as well! Breakfast- it’s decent for a free breakfast, regular coffee, Texas waffles, cereal, oatmeal, toast, muffins, yogurt, apples and banana. Juice is VERY sweet though. But the juice is my only real con and didn’t affect my 5* rating. I will stay again.

Of all my stay in others hotels this is the best one of all ,love the place it was perfect ,comfy ,nice very spacious, made me feel if I had everything I needed if I was at home. I will be returning back on my next trip and I recomand your stay there won't regret it.

This is my first time when we ask to leave the suitcase with the stuff they just said you can leave wherever you want, but we are not responsible for your loss, so we had to take it with us to go have lunch,

The staff was wonderful

The toilet seat was broken The shower didn't work The shower floor was slick we almost fell The door didn't latch or lock The whole room needs to be painted The fire alarm is missing The room smells like smoke The sheets are yellow The bedspread has cigarette burns No coffe maker in the room The staff was rude The breakfast was cold Not a good impression for Wyndam
