The hotel service was excellent the staff went above and beyond for our family reunion. From the time of check in to our farewell brunch the professionalism was felt. Especially by Erica M. She was amazing!

Unplanned stay at the HIE Texarkana while on a vacation to the Dallas area. Booked online and checked in about 30 minutes later. Erica at the front desk was like meeting up with a long lost friend. She was so Courteous and friendly and welcomed us. Checked into our room and after a week of travelling and staying at various hotels from different chains it was a pleasure to have such a spacious CLEAN room that didn’t have the usual hotel air freshener stink. Upon coming back from retrieving items from the car she checked in to ensure that our room was satisfactory. The room was more than satisfactory. Bed was extremely comfortable with a variety of pillows. Shower had lots of pressure and bathroom was spotless. All the staff we encountered went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed to not only their hotel but their city as well. Breakfast was one of the best all week. Would definitely recommend

The treadmills did not work and no towels in workout room. No towels in the pool area. They did have hot water in the shower which was great. Hotels with lukewarm water should be shutdown.

Amy was very friendly and helpful at check in, and it was much appreciated after 10 hours of driving. She provided us recommendations on a place to eat, and local pharmacy. The only thing wrong with our room is that the toilet seat was loose and there was a noticeable gap in our door that you could see through from the hall. Thanks for being so nice Amy!

This hotel needs a good facelift and cleaning. Carpets were dirty, tile floor in bathroom was missing grout, the pool was dirty so we didn’t use it. Front desk staff on check in seemed untrained. She was on the phone in back room when we arrived and when she came out she was still on phone with an unhappy customer and didn’t seem to be able to help. When we asked for a room away from highway she didn’t know where rooms were located. Two breakfast people stayed in back talking while guests had to go find them to get bread. The mattress was soft and uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.
