Fairfield Inn & Suites Terrell

Right at the conjunction of two major highways this hotel is at a convenient location for visiting Terrell just minutes away from the downtown area. Next to a retail area there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Property was quiet and breakfast standard for the brand.

This was our last stop on our way home to Louisiana from Grand Canyon. We stayed here two nights to be able to go to First Monday in Canton. The area is very nice, lots of eating and shopping in close proximity. Buc-ee's is also within walking distance which was nice. The hotel itself is just ok. It's showing a lot of wear. We stayed in a suite but couldn't really use the couch because it had a bad odor. The entire room actually had an odor. We stayed at five different hotels on our trip and this one , I hate to say, was the worst. Employees were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast area was not the best, although the employee who was working it was trying her best. Not a big variety, no bread to toast, but there were bagels and english muffins. On our second morning, one guest was there with her night clothes and socks, which is not appetizing. The booths are showing a lot of wear. It's just not appealing. The outside parking lot was very dirty, cigarette butts and trash. There are two other hotels in the same area, I'd advise to use one of those.

Great helpful staff

I had the pleasure of staying here during Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful experience. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a gentleman who made the check-in process seamless and provided all the information I needed about the hotel. Our room was clean, well-stocked, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job maintaining it throughout our stay. The breakfast each morning was a great bonus, and the lady who managed the breakfast area was so kind. She made sure everything was well-stocked and clean, and she even checked in with us at our table to ensure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again! (Apologies for not taking down any names.)
