Was at a funeral of a young man from the village . A very sad occasion on the day . The whole village was in that hotel as he was a very popular young man . However in the early evening a sing song broke out on this very sad day . Place was full and the owner asked us to stop singing . When I approached her she said the neighbours would be upset . The neighbours were in the pub . How can she be so insensitive . If this is only pub in village God help the locals .

Was the best stay my son and I have had throughout our trip. Could not have met nicer, friendlier or more caring people if we tried. Thank you for making the end of this journey so memorable

Appreciated the gate for the secured parking. Was greeted at the door. The lady at the front desk was very gracious. She gave us options for dinner and walked up to show us our room.
It is located near to Drogheda. We enjoyed spending time at the Grey Goose.

Quaint, charming and friendly!
A lovely place in a quiet village. Everyone was very nice, service was great, morning breakfast was fast and tasty. We arrived for check in a little late and entered through the pub… The bar tender was also the concierge. We stayed in the carriage house and had the company of a very friendly pair of cats! Relatively close to Bru Na Boyne if your intent is to see Newgrange and Knowth.
Only things you should be aware of:
The nearest gastro pub is a little over 2 miles away.
Don’t be put off by the drive through the dodgy end of Drogheda, Termonfeckin is a lovely town

Very good one night stopover on our way South - all staff very friendly and helpful, room fab and location perfect. Talk to me about scrambling those eggs though… 8-)

Friendly base to explore Irelands Ancient East
We very much enjoyed our stay with Flynn’s of Termonfeckin. We were warmly welcomed by the whole team. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful, served by friendly staff.
Flynn’s is a great base to explore Ireland’s Ancient East. The only challenge is that there is nowhere to eat in Termonfeckin which is a shame, it’s a lovely, historic town with a beautiful beach. Having to drive to next town for a meal is a disadvantage and the choice is limited - however we loved our fish and chips at Clogherhead harbour with wonderful views.
