Das Hotel wurde -wenn ich dem Dumont-Reiseführer glauben darf- nach deutschen Standards gebaut und während des ISAF Einsatzes durch die Bundeswehr genutzt. Es liegt etwa 1 km vom Bahnhof entfernt. Fassade und Lobby sind ansprechend, jedoch nicht die Zimmer, welche doch schon in die Jahre gekommen sind. Aber die Aircon funktionierte gut und das Frühstücksbuffet war ordentlich. Also für den günstigen Preis okay.

I can't explain the low rating of this property. The receptionist was very kind and allowed us an early check-in. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. Nothing was missing. Very good breakfast buffet, basically you have lunch. The only flaw: there is no elevator, but the hotel staff carried our luggage up. The location is also excellent, a few steps from the archaeological museum. Highly recommended

Looking at previous reviews, it seems the hotel has had a recent face lift. The bed was comfortable and the other accommodations were satisfactory. I especially appreciated coffee and breakfast. As a woman traveling alone, it's important to me to stay somewhere safe where the staff cares about their patrons. I was totally comfortable and felt well taken care during my stay.
