Premier Inn Colchester (A12)

Lee and his assistant were excellent couldn't be more helpful in organising another 2 extra days at a more reasonable price , I recommend this Premier Inn to any one staying in Colchester .The rooms are excellent and the beds are superb great nights sleep

Colchester A12 premier inn is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful with getting us booked in and into our room. The staff all had smiles on their faces and were very welcoming and friendly. Lucy the manager was there and was very helpful with information about things to do in Colchester. Lucy was really polite and seems like she is running the site really well. I would definitely recommend staying at this premier inn. I will be going back soon, thanks Lucy and all staff for making the stay so easy and stress free.

Have stayed in this Premier Inn before, and was not disappointed then. Rooms are spotless especially the bathroom. Bedding is very white and clean and the bath towels are very thick, fluffy and white. Staff super friendly, could not fault them. Perfect service from the staff at Premier Inn A12.

Stayed here 1st-3rd November for the weekend whilst visiting friends. The welcome on reception was quick, polite & friendly. A fairly large hotel and there's a lot of building works going on at the minute but this didn't disturb us at all. We received an email before our stay saying some noise may be heard between 8am & 6pm but we heard nothing on this particular weekend. It looks like they're re-doing the rooms on the ground floor. Our room was clean, smelt fresh, kept a good temperature, there was plenty of hot water, clean white fluffy bath towels, lots of hanging space for our family of 3 good lighting, & we slept very well. Help yourself to extra tea, coffee, sugar & milk in reception whenever you need it & the staff were helpful when I requested some extra hand towels. We didn't try the attached restaurant/pub, so can't comment on that. We managed to get parked both nights round the back of the hotel even after arriving after 10pm both nights. There was parking in the pub car park also. Great location for us & we would stay here again. Thanks, ❤️ The Andersons

Stayed one night with my family as going to Colchester zoo the following day. Also popped into Colchester for the castle and town. There's ever a cat cafe! Met by a lovely lady on reception. Check in was quick and easy. Room was big and clean. Dinner over pub was decent. Not michellin star but nice. Waitress Molly was very polite and efficient. Breakfast next day was good. Order taken by a lovely male and food came out fast. We all had a lovely time.

Disaster as locked out of my room. Staying two nights, went out for the day and came back and the staff have managed to mess up the lock on my door when changing the battery. So I can’t get in to my room and not even any offer of compensation. I am really angry as I can’t get in to any of my personal items in my room and stuck sitting in the poky little reception.
