The most Amazing place to visit in Garhwal. The lawns, the green trees and flowers. The place is serene beyond imagination. The rooms are big and well decorated and bathrooms are huge & stylish. The food is better than what you eat at Masoorie or Dehradoon. This place should be visited by Travellers who love luxury

Easy drive from Dehradun gets you here.Because of the altitude the temperature was great and we could go forest bathing also in the afternoons.Food and service was great and views of snow capped mountains was the best part.Evenings are spent listening to their singer and having drinks.All in all a good holiday!

Very well located facing the valley, snow clad peaks of the outer Himalayan range. A compact hotel encompassing a range of offerings like well located Italian outlet, activity hall, terraces to ponder the peaks so on. They recently underwent though renovation and upkeep maintenance sprucing up the premises. The rooms we stayed were large and contemporary well equipped with heating arrangements even the shower area was large and spacious with latest plumbing. The staff is courteous though the challenges of remote location do hamper the services may be due to shortage of manpower. All in all an excellent place to stay and enjoy the fabulous nature.

Worst hospitality from such an exclusive and expensive hotel. Especially Ms. Alka, who have been very rude. It spoiled our trip - biggest mistake to opt for this hotel instead of other good properties here in Kanatal. Recommend not to choose this hotel.

The food at Terraces was absolutely amazing. We had Indian dishes which were very authentic and the Nepali thali made by Chef Deepak & team with the variety of achaar and chutneys was too delicious ***** with the starters The service at Terraces is unbeatable.

I stayed at the terraces Kanhatal recently we discovered a gem right on top of the mountains I was given a wonderful room with beautiful views of the Himalayan ranges with the perfect cool climate it was a real treat the rooms very clean the hotel s cleanliness was top class they have a bonfire every evening which is a plus cafe romano serves great pizzas & sandwiches they also have a dhabha which serves good snacks & tea with an open garden area around . Very good breakfast & dinner as well Ashu ji Deepak ji & jyoti ji made us very comfortable during our stay would like to thank their entire staff for their hospitality & service everything was more than expected great work keep it up .

Location is awesome. They arranged a nature forest safari which was an amazing experience. We also did a jungle treck. Food was good. At times i felt they could do better to maintain cleanliness. There was a problem of insects coming into room, but you expect that in a nature resort, right! negative points. Its very expensive. They charge for everything, even for kids. Not even 5 star resorts charge rs. 3000 for extra-bed for kid.
