The Kanatal Orchids, Kanatal

Booked Premium Cottage - Room was small. They allow four adults to stay in that cottage and give you extra beds but after that no space is left in the room. Balcony is the best part , big size and uninterrupted view of valley , it is like you are in middle of jungle at the hill top. If you love nature then this is the place to be. Not advisable for very old people as it is camping site. You have park the car at the roads c then walk to this place on hills with narrow passage it takes 10 mins to reach there not at all difficult or risky walk. They will take your luggage. Nice staff but don’t expect much from them though they try to do best for you, very soft spoken and always say ‘yes’ to what you ask for but do what they could at that time. Bon fire , Star Gazing , good garden. Food is below average, they serve at your room as well, you can enjoy tea pakoras at your Balcony with best view. But there are many options near by to have food in 5-10 mins drive but you have to go outside where your car is through hill. Famous Kanatal adventure sports are just 10 mins drive. Surkanda Devi Temple is just 10 mins drive. They have cable car option as well but sometimes gets very crowded and as the road is narrow you have to face long Jams. No parking again you have to park on the road. Overall Kanatal is best place to stay in this belt. If you want luxury options then go for “The Terraces” it is just above this place.

Went there this month only with our family, the experience was great, curtious staff, good food, evenings are really great. They provide bonfire too. Thanks to Mr. Nikhil and nautiyal ji for making our stay memorable.

It was a very nice place and a amazing view of bandar pooch and staff is very supportive and pocked friendly i recommend to my friends also and you can visit maa surkunda Devi temple just 3 km from stay

If anyone wants a relaxed weekend , this is the perfect place to spend with friends , everything is perfect from food to camping to late night bonfire, dj nights and last but not the least the perfect view of dawn..

One of the amazing natural scenery I have seen till now. This new year eve I’ve celebrated it in nature at Kanatal Orchids. A must visit place for nature lovers and those who want to disconnect from city life and connect with a peaceful life. Good for campers too, well maintained tents and cottages. Food is amazing here. They even do bonfire with tea and snacks so that you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Breathtaking views I can guarantee over it. It takes 6 hours from Delhi to reach The Kanatal Orchids. Nikhil ji owner and host of this place is an amazing person with humble and humorous nature, a guy who can blend with numerous number of people and make them groove. Staff is also so humble and polite which for sure everyone seeks while travelling. Rates are reasonable for sure and network might vary there but hi-speed wi-fi is there for the rescue. Really had a good time there. Will be visiting soon to see the snowfall:)
