Atulya Neer Hotel

We stayed at Atulya Neer, Tehri for 2 nights. It was average stay overall considering price we paid. It is a homestay and not a hotel. Positives: 1. Property location is very good. It has access to view of Tehri lake. 2. Parantha in breakfast were good. Negatives: 1. Where we reached around 2 pm, homestay was locked from inside and we had to call on mentioned number. A person came eventually from inside the property and opened main door. He was not even aware that there is booking and guests are expected. 2. Hygiene and maintenance was average. If managed well, this property has lot of potential. 3. When we requested for lunch after check-in, caretaker mentioned that cook is not available hence we will have to manage lunch outside. We requested for quick meal like maggie or sandwich which was also denied. Thankfully, there is a dhaba around 500 meters from property and we had our lunch and dinner there only during entire stay. 3. TV and dining space is common for all guests and space there is very limited. If property is fully occupied then I am sure it will be very chaotic. Thankfully, we were only family staying during at that time and hence it was all ours. 4. Caretaker there was mostly sleeping and was least bothered about guest's comfort. 5. Owner never bothered to check how our stay was going considering.
