This was my second time visiting Angono for Higantes. The year before I stayed at a hotel in Taytay because I didn't know about this little resort/bed & breakfast. Got a great deal on the two night stay but was a little worried due to some of the reviews I've read. I'll admit, there was often a lot of people playing music or doing karaaoke by the pool and my bathroom/shower room was separate from the bedroom but it was a private bathroom. I can only assume that the complaints about bad service are related to people who no longer work at VJR because everyone I came into contact with was helpful and friendly. All in all, especially considering the price I was very happy. The room was very large, clean and comfy with a very big and very soft bed. If you visit Angono for Higantes or any time of year to soak up the food and culture of the art capital of the Philippines Villa Jhoana is an ideal place to make your homebase!

It's a vast space, with several pools and rooms/ private villas. It's a great place to spend a weekend with family, strolling among the trees, enjoying a leisurely swim, taking in the realistic and textured paintings in the restaurant, and partaking of other activities like horseback riding and more. The staff are the absolute friendliest, most accommodating and efficient ones I have ever encountered in my life. Well trained and wired to serve, going way beyond what is required (special shout out to Ruiz/ Fruity and Amy, definitely role models for the service and hospitality industry). I highly recommend this place for team building or family vacations... or even a personal getaway.

I was looking for a cheap hotel near Taytay and found this hotel to be clean and cheap, so I stayed here for one night. As soon as I entered the room, I realized that this hotel is what they call a love hotel in Japan. There was a parking space in front of the room, the room had neon lights and a swing. I invited a friend over to stay the night, but he couldn't sleep at night and we had to check out at 4am. In short, if I'm going to stay the night at a love hotel, I want to just take a break and go home early. The Philippines' construction technology is low, so the facilities feel a bit old, but the Filipino staff are enthusiastic and will respond immediately even if you call them at 2am, and the security is also reassuring. From check-in to check-out, they ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience.

I stayed at Ibis Styles Araneta so I can get peace and quiet while I finished my book and that was what I got. Although not the typical desk and chair set-up, it really worked for the work I needed to do. The rooms may be on the small size but there was enough natural light that flooded the room and kept me energized during my entire stay. I had a really great time from start to finish. Once I arrived at the driveway, I was already assisted by their staff. Check-in was fast and the front desk staff (Sam) even helped me get my luggage to my room. The room was very cozy, clean, and chill. One of the downsides would have to be the closet since it was just a rod on top of the coffee station and the clothes drop down on the coffee cups. Another downside are the roll-down blinds. If you don't want to be seen outside, you'd have to roll down all the blinds and prevent any sunlight flooding the room. Not a big problem though. Really enjoyed Le Bistro and the Edge Skyview Bar. Very cozy places to just relax. I also love the panoramic views by the rooftop bar. I would really have appreciated it if the buffet and Le Bistro had several vegan food choices. It's a good thing Gateway Mall is right beside the hotel so I was able to eat my meals. I love that they have a water dispenser and provided a water pitcher in the room to make it easier for water refill. The lobby is also a great place to hangout and work in at times. Over all, I'd stay here again.

Spa was mediocre. They need to improve on customer experience. Massage room too cold and no way to adjust temperature. No heated bed. Had to ask for more towels to keep me warm. Didn’t smell like a spa. Little musty. Therapist was good though. The rooms are well appointed and very spacious. Complete with kitchen in a 2BR Suite. Bathtub too high for short people and may cause accidents. There’s a washer dryer combo that technically only washed clothes and kept clothes damp. The dryer was not efficient and we checked out with still damp clothes. 3 associates came to the room and tried to solve the problem. Their suggestion was to wash the clothes again so it will trigger the dry cycle. Never worked. Waste of time and energy. Dryer should dry clothes. Period. Breakfast selection was good. Saw a little cockroach walk around the sushi area. 😲 The area can get so much traffic. Kalayaan Ave can get crazy busy. Give enough time and clear directions for your Grab diver if you want to make your appointments on time. OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!

The managers at the Ridge Cafe deserve special mention for their professionalism, unwavering hospitality, and infectious jolliness. They ensured that every meal was served with care and attention to detail. They effortlessly managed the bustling café, yet never failed to accommodate our specific requests and dietary preferences. Their dedication to providing excellent service was evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting positive impression on us. Moreover, the staff at the pool area reflected the same level of commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction. They were always available to assist with our needs and consistently made us feel comfortable. Whether it was providing extra towels, adjusting the poolside umbrellas, or delivering refreshing beverages, they attended to every request promptly and with a genuine smile.

Don’t expect perfection but for the price I paid and for the service received during my overnight stay, I’m rating this 5 for going beyond my expectations for this first time booking. 2 days before my stay, Savoy Hotel sent me an email reminder. It also says, “Please do not hesitate to let us know if we can be of assistance in making any special preparations prior to your arrival.” and so I give it a shot and replied with a request. Most of the staff I’ve encountered with are courteous and welcoming except for the tall front desk lady during my check-in. Btw, I hope you install a pin light by the room coffee/tea area and closet. Stayed one night after visiting Boracay. I emailed them in advance and asked them to pick me up at the airport. It was room of coral wing of bottom category that stayed, but area and comfort are enough, too. There were 2 toilets. When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted a room on the sea side or the fountain side, so I chose the fountain side. After 6:00 p.m., we could see the fountain show that was held every hour from the living room and bathroom of the room. I can't hear the sound that much. The good points of the room are the large space for luggage, where you can go directly from the entrance, where there is a dresser with bright lights, where there is a non-slip at the bottom of the wide bathtub, where there is a bench in the shower room, And so on. The amenity has a good scent and the air volume of the dryer is sufficient. The touch of the bathrobe was also good. I had an early flight the next morning, so I asked the concierge to arrange a grab for me. . It was a reliable service.
