There is no breakfast offered although the web site said it was. ice machine was broken. Would not recommend unless extremely desperate. Found garbage in the dresser from a prior guest. Dark and creepy, avoid

Room dirty and no breakfast. Door leaked cold air and now i am sick. Floors filthy only had 2 towels and NO coffee condiments. Website said they had breakfast and they had nothing. Didn't even have coffee in the lobby.

Falsely advertised a breakfast. Family woke up excited about breakfast and the door was locked to the lobby. We buzzed the doorbell and a man in a t-shirt and bini cap came out and informed us they do not serve breakfast. Was told Super 8s aren't required to carry breakfast. Then you should take it off your website. I had to pay $25 to get breakfast for the family at Casey's up the road because of this false advertising. Quit being cheap and start offering breakfast like any other Wyndham hotel with any self-respecting owners. Before this incident I was going to post a positive review. Now you cheap punks get this. Do better!

When we arrived door was locked at office and we had to call to have someone come and check us in. Waited about 10 minutes. Office full of furniture boxes so no breakfast or coffee was to be served the following morning. All rooms have outdoor entrances and bugs plastered in our doorway. Room looked to be in the process of remodeling. Dark interior meaning minimal lighting, mold in bathroom, cabinets removed from wall and the worst of it floor was filthy! Clean sheets on bed but could see stains underneath. Never again!

Overall decent room, good Wi-Fi and location. Check- in and check out was simple, reservation was accurate. Cons- manager stepped away when I arrived for check in and I had to wait an extra 10 mins,Needs a deep cleaning and provide breakfast items as advertised.

Rooms were clean and spacious! The newly remodeled rooms look great. Quiet and peaceful area. The staff was always available to accommodate our needs in a timely manner. Will definitely be back again when I’m in this area. Best place in Taylorville!

Rooms could use some fresh paint and a few simple updates, but overall a nice stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and courteous and the checkout process was effortless. I will stay again if I’m in the area.

Staff was friendly. Room service passed every other day. No breakfast even though the booking says its included staff said it was not offered at all. No hot water in certain times of the day. Bugs (small crickets) which i believe kept coming in through the gap on the front door. Bathroom light had no cap and would turn off on its own randomly. Sink drain would drain extremely slow borderline clogged. Shower curtain had black mold. Hole in the corner wall of the room. Chairs had questionable stains. Closet pole was loose. Phone in room did not work at all. Pictures taken to document the experience.
