Tawonga Tourist Park

Fantastic time had with Friends and Family back at the best swimming hole along the Kiewa River. Awesome to enjoy a campfire at night where the stars are super bright with our puppy in our van.

Lovely shady park, big powered sites, fairly new and clean amenities, great place for kids to ride their bikes around, close to river with sheltered swimming spots for little ones and bbq close by. Great to see plenty of families staying there. Never had a text to remind you that checkout is strictly 10am at 8.30am on last day or seen someone with clipboard going around to check at 10am! Must be run by big corporate as you can only contact them by a phone number 300km away as well! Enjoyed our 3 night stay, plenty to see around the area.

Every thing , the beautiful trees, the big sites,, closeness to the river and amenities, cleanliness, friendly grounds man, the oval area kids could kick the footy on and play cricket Pizza night added bonus Walking down to the river and seeing all the other campers there sharing this area it was like a big beach party Every one chilled and relaxed so inviting this is a big draw card where every one can enjoy the river front not just the ones that were lucky enough to book a river side site or cabin as is the case in Mt beauty caravan park We had family staying with us who commented about this as well Loved floating down river on tyres lots of fun water so refreshing easy entry to take little ones down to water River shoes would be advantage 😊

This park has great river access with large grassed areas, however, the park seems neglected, toilet blocks old and rundown, drainage poor. For the high site fees one would expect better…lift your game Tawonga Tourist Park
