Geweldige locatie aan de rand van een dicht bos met uitzicht op weilanden, schapen, heuvels en veel vogels. Hartelijke ontvangst en bbq pakket voor eerste avond bestaande uit mooie sappige steaks. Bij het huisje staat onder de overkapping een gas bbq. In de koelkast melk, vruchtensap, verse eieren! Ook brood, boter ect. Allemaal aanwezig. Met alle gordijnen open geslapen, er is niemand en je zit vrij van andere huisjes. Echt donker dus wat een spectaculaire sterrenhemel opleverde! Goede bedden en keuken met alles er op en aan. Wel zelf afwassen, in verband ecologische omgang met water is er geen machine voor. Alsof dat het ergste is! Een regelrechte aanrader!!!

This is a must for anyone visiting the Catlins! So peaceful to sit and see only the mountains and sheep! Also Tracy and Mike are the best hosts! The rentals are fully equipped and so enjoyable-- absolutely will come again! Be sure to book early!

De aankomst alleen al is bijzonder: over een prachtig bospad rijd je naar de receptie. De cottage is gezellig, mooi en met zorg ingericht. Het voelt al met al heel luxe aan. We zijn niet toegekomen aan de spa, maar hij staat klaar voor gebruik. En het uitzicht is fantastisch! Nog nooit zó'n mooi uitzicht gehad. De WiFi doet het supergoed. En dan is de opzet van het park ook nog eens eco-vriendelijk en duurzaam. Wat ons betreft een dikke tien!

Perfect place, very quiet, beautiful cottages. Good bed, well maintained and many things to see in the Catlins. The skies are ever changing and the serene sound of the cattle in the distance is comforting. The hosts are welcoming and keep their distance as is suitable for this place.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Häuschen mit sehr viel Platz und einer wunderbaren Aussicht über die grünen Hügel und die Schafe. Sehr nette Gastgeber die gute Tipps für die Umgebung geben. Alles da was man braucht. Nicht weit entfernt ist der Nugget Leuchtturm den man unbedingt besuchen sollte. Weiter gibt es in der Nähe einen schönen Wasserfall.

Wow! Along the road less traveled on the South Island of NZ, it’s hard to express the beauty. Mohua Park was idyllic, where the rainforest meets the green pastures (with plenty of sheep and lambs) along the most southern point of the island. Very comfortable and well thought out accommodations. Very close to some of the best outdoor locations along this route…Slope Point, Nugget Point and Purakaunui Falls..Tracy and Mike were the most gracious and kind hosts, and we will remember our time here! Oh, and their Labrador Retriever Gus was the sweetest, most handsome and lovable boy. Highly recommend!

It's located on a 15-minute drive from the closest village, although it feels you're really off grid. The view is great, and it's really serene. The home itself is good, the electric blankets are great. Only the shower was a bit low for us (but i'm 191cm) Thanks for the great stay.
