We were there for the July 4th experience on Lake Dora. The balcony room was AWESOME clean and efficient . To top off our trip we et Trinity, an employee at the Citrus. She checked us in during this busy stay date. She was very professional and customer-oriented. She also worked at the Citrus Sky Bar as a bartender which is a MUST visit and the Argonaut. another cool bar. What we love about this location is you can part your car and walk everywhere. Thank you Trinity for making our trip so enjoyable. We will definitely return.

Pretty much as advertised as far as a good view goes, but it goes downhill quickly after that. Didn’t know that I’d be staying in a building across the street, never offered a luggage cart, elevator, very slow and dangerous, rooms are not clean, zero clothes hangers, and the linens are like a heavy grade sand paper. My wife woke with bugs in her hair and the balcony is full of dead bug carcasses that fell into our morning coffee. Rude Sky Bar employees with watered down drinks and the MINIMUM tip you are shamed into electronically is 20%. We love the area and think Taveres is a hidden gem, but this place doesn’t help the charm of the town. You need to work harder to improve your image.

Adequate rooms- nice views - no frills - great location - clean …helpful staff - very safe - walking distance to lots of restaurants Lake Dora is steps away - could use a little tlc on the pool and outside area- and beware there is a very loud bar at night ! Loud techno music !

Christmas pre getaway
Great hotel- low water pressure and shower/bath knob was backwards hot and cold, close to many bars on Friday night- very loud. Room very spacious, however back door entrance to B bldg no lighting and door open for anyone to enter. Area was beautiful,and people were very friendly.

Hidden Florida Gem
The Key West Resort is a hidden Florida gem. Lovely atmosphere, watching the sea planes land off our balcony deck was so.much fun! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaraunts within a short walking distance. We will definitely be back!
