The hotel is located in nice quiet alcove outside the busy areas of the other towns in Gran Canaria. It faces a public beach, which is easily accessible, but does not have a beach of its own. The facilities are wonderful, clean and capable of hosting the hundreds of tourists that descend upon the hotel in winter. The pools are large and the gym is well equipped. The kids club and animation are adequate, but I have seen better. The food spread is huge and the quality is good, but it tends to be bland and not sufficiently spiced. Overall I would rate it 8/10 and would consider visiting again.

The hotel has had a complete overhaul and looks stunning, the staff are super friendly and everything has improved overall. My only cons of the hotel is entertainment finishes too quickly and you're left without much to do in the evening, staff could do with an extra hand at times so there's less to tidy up and deters the birds from trying to eat the food.

This hotel is amazing , all the staff are very friendly , the only two thing that would improve this hotel, would be more easier access to the pool, ie sloop or step leading into , as the ladder ‘s are not easy to use, and even though it’s a family hotel it would be nice to have accommodation for Adults only and area for relaxing by the pool,,,

The hotel was amazing. It had recently been refurbished. The whole place was clean and fresh. We had an escania junior suite it had 2 sinks in the bathroom big wall in shower. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. The pool areas all clean

Just got back from one week ... this is the 3rd time at this hotel, 1st time since the refurb. Hotel is beautiful but unfortunately the evening entertainment is shocking 😲. The indoor entertainment room has a bar but no drink!!! The outside entertainment is more or less the same each night (no atmosphere) & the bar shuts at 11. We missed the piano bar as the entertainment in there was great. If you are a smokers there is very limited areas. If you upgrade you get a certain area of the pool with mattresses on the sunbeds, bottles of water & certain extra drinks. We were happy with the selection without the upgrade. It was sad to see people who hadn't upgraded being turned away from this area especially as there was always loads of beds free! Sadly we won't be going back.

If I could give this review ten stars I would. Me and my children had one of our best holidays we have ever been on. I have never stayed in a place like this. Luxury from beginning to the end. Stunning, relaxing, soo many places to sit in comfort. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned to perfection every day. We stayed in an Esencia Junior Suite with the upgrade. For me it was worth it but it is not necessary. The hotel itself was spotless. The toilets spotless and always had a lovely smell in them. The food, wow I have never eaten soo much in my life. Soo much choice, quality and I struggled as I wanted to eat soo much more. The drinks were of excellent quality. The service from every single staff member was 100% and I cannot thank each and every one of them enough. Jose at reception was such a great guy and we cannot wait to see him again. Alex in The One Restaurant was brilliant. But as I said above I want to thank each and every member of staff who treated us like VIPs the whole holiday. The entertainment team work tirelessly to give the kids a great time. They were all wonderful but a big shout out to Evan, Bruna and Adrian. My two children cried on the last day as they are going to miss them all soo very much. This hotel is a gem, a gem in a quiet resort which suits us. Everything about this holiday was perfect and we cannot wait to returrn in October. Thank you Princess Taurito for a wonderful holiday.

Pool guard (?!) stopped to ask where was our bracelet as apparently you cannot even come to a reception to look around. Unpleasant personnel and strange internal rules. Very bizarre and odd. I wouldn't recommend staying there as you will be watched every second which is not normal.

My daughter treated me to a long weekend at the Taurito Princess, and what can I say. The food was delicious, the rooms were lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was really good, thoroughly enjoyed the flamenco dancers and the band. Beautiful view, and really friendly atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. Brilliant hotel.
