The hotel is located in nice quiet alcove outside the busy areas of the other towns in Gran Canaria. It faces a public beach, which is easily accessible, but does not have a beach of its own. The facilities are wonderful, clean and capable of hosting the hundreds of tourists that descend upon the hotel in winter. The pools are large and the gym is well equipped. The kids club and animation are adequate, but I have seen better. The food spread is huge and the quality is good, but it tends to be bland and not sufficiently spiced. Overall I would rate it 8/10 and would consider visiting again.

Stayed in room 0934 August 28th for four nights with my 14 yr old grand daughter. Lovely safe hotel that she could wander around by herself (she cannot sit still so had various circuits of the hotel building that she did everyday...all day lol) . We both enjoyed our stay very much. Grand daughter very fussy eater but even she found something to eat every day. Did not encounter a single rude member of staff all were friendly and or polite. I accidentally left safe unlocked on first day, nothing had been touched on return. Friendly guys serving in the bar special thanks to the guy with real bad eye sight ( he knows who he is) always got me my Southern Comfort. We are already planning a return next year but this time bringing her younger sister too. Thank you Princess Taurito for making our first trip together so lovely.x

Firstly, the hotel itself and grounds are beautiful but, I absolutely would not return. Do book the Esencia, you get your own area for sunbeds by the pool and a quieter, nicer experience for breakfast. You can also book The One restaurant for dinner but we did one night and didn't rate it at all. The options were slim and food not great. With Esencia you get bottled water in your room every day and at meals. If you're not on Esencia, you have the self service water from the soft drinks machine which uses the same tap as other soft drinks so it's rarely clear! You also get all drinks included whereas if you're 'silver' as opposed to 'gold' (Esencia), you can only have selected drinks. I've tried to detail everything below: What's good: - the rooms are modern and clean - the hotel and grounds are lovely - the beach is beautiful and so close - there are lots of places to sit and relax around the hotel and there are plenty of sunbeds. - they enforce not reserving sunbeds before 10am - breakfast is the best meal - the views are stunning - the pool is nice and warm What's not so good: - the food is just ok. You will always find something to eat, options are vast but it's done cheaply. A lot of stews and food isn't labelled very well so you cannot always be sure what's in it. The food temperature is luke warm. We had maybe three occasions where we really enjoyed the food at lunch and dinner. Other times, it was just ok. (Breakfast is nice.) At times, bread was stale and the waiters hover over you to clear your plates. Many times, I literally put my last mouthful in and they were there to take the plate before I'd finished chewing! I understand they want to keep things moving but it was all a bit rushed. On that note, the restaurant is very busy and loud. Hard to do anything about that but it isn't overly pleasant. You will queue to get in at peak times too. - the entertainment was sub par. Mostly live music which can be a bit boring after a few nights. We had two shows which were enjoyable. We didn't really see the animation/ entertainment team for the entire week. Only when they introduced the acts or did aqua gym. - a lot of the staff cannot speak English, luckily we know enough Spanish to get by but it was difficult at times to get a drink you wanted or information. - upon arrival, we were told nothing about the hotel other than our room number and where the lifts were because the receptionist couldn't speak English. - the lifts get very busy at peak times so, as lot of waiting around. - the generators on the first part of the building are so loud if you're floors 6 and above, expect noise although it's not bad with the balcony door closed. - the surrounding areas outside of the hotel are a bit run down especially beyond the water park. Overall, it was ok. We made the most of it but the hotel would benefit from spending more money on food and a good animation team who put on shows rather than buying average acts in. I think the grounds make

Don’t bother upgrading to essencia it isn’t exclusive as advertised everyone using the “exclusive area” for sun beds People are complaining but staff walk round and appear not to see non essencia guests

Super fijn hotel. Heel erg proper, ruime kamers en veel keuze in het buffet-restaurant! Het personeel is ook vriendelijk. Het uitzicht van op je kamer is onbetaalbaar! Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. 🌞

Lovely hotel, All inclusive good, upgraded to Esencia . Rooms were great, clean and modern, fab balcony cushioned chairs. sunbeds lovely and comfortable, The One restaurant , was not that impressed by it- limited vegetarian meals. Meals were good in Food Market. Plenty of choice of cocktails. Location great for beach , lots of water sports available.Transport very good for Puerto Rico

1 vraie expérience de all inclusive. Fermez le restaurant The One le soir car le personnel n est pas à la hauteur du service qu il doit et les plats chauds sont tres medomiocres. Tout le reste est très bien

We've just returned from a week's family holiday, staying at the princess Taurito. I must say, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is vast, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy a nice view, a gym, technically 2 pools but it's more like 3 with a wall that divides the main pool, a couple of bars but lots of self service drinks stations that offer fruit juices, lager, wine (red, white, rosé and sangria) and soft drinks. There were a few small issues with fittings and fixtures, locks that didn't work or bits broken, but those bits kind of get lost in how massive the place is. The room was spacious and inviting. The bed was huge, easily a king size plus, although I didn't find it the most comfortable, and towards the end of our stay my wife and I ended up with a bit of a sore neck. My Daughter stayed on the pull out sofa bed which she found to be nice enough. There's lots of sun loungers available, with umbrellas that are dotted around and fixed to the floor. The hotel operates a 'no reserving' rule that applies before 10am and is enforced. There's an attendant that removes people's towels if they're not in use, and leaves a note to explain, although if one of your party stays with the loungers it's fine. It's quite a good thing and stops the sunbeds filling up too quickly. That being said, lots of people are left without a bed next to the main pool post 10am, so if you want one there...be quick! There are usually others available elsewhere though. The main restaurant was always very very clean and tidy, and the food was always very good, with a wide selection. They have themed nights (Italian, Mexican, Chinese etc) so it's constantly changing with LOADS to choose from. There are a couple of grill stations where the cooks are cooking in front of you and serve to your plate for you, the rest is self service. The dessert section was always great! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The coffee offerings aren't great and could be improved, but that's a minor gripe really. There's a self service snack bar open in the day, with things like hotdogs, burgers and chips, ice-cream and cakes along with another 2 drinks stations. The evening entertainment was always okay, some better than others but, something to watch and enjoy if you're in to that sort of thing. There's a mini disco for kids every night. The beach is tidy with plenty of sunbeds, €10 for 2 for the day. Plenty little bars and a couple of small shops. We didn't use the beachfront hotel bar, but it's available if you wish, I don't think it's part of the all inclusive package, but is discounted for all inclusive guests. The water park opposite is massive, with loads of seating available, you have to pay for umbrella hire. The water is VERY salty, but no more that swimming in the sea. Stings the eyes a little so take goggles. The main lifts up to the accommodation levels are a bit quirky. There are 3 lifts in total, lettered A,B & C, there's a little blue LED panel that you have to

Updated hotel but a shame standards we not kept up to get a decent view from the pool you have to pay exclusive . The soft chairs in garden taken away just benches left . The lack of staff is noticeable now this was one of out go to hotels been 4 times but it’s now dirty plates left for hours without been cleaned lifts never cleaned and still got paint on from refurbishment as well as brass handles now bashed and unpolished. Ledges going from hotel to pool very dirty. Layout nice and rooms clean but pool area and restaurants needs lot more staff . Pool area tiles were dirty all week . Food just like before good and plenty of choice . Now it’s an only go if price is cheap hotel for us but was once out first choice . So many opertunties missed in the reverb . Should have beds with shades now like most . Soft chairs in garden taken away. Extra poo infinity where they want to build new spa etc
