Stayed here with my parents for a few nights. Great place to be right on the walkway and the best part is the geothermally heated pool!! :)

The room is very big and suitable for family living. The single bed room is very quiet to sleep in. The most beautiful thing is that there is a small yard in the room where you can sit outside to eat breakfast, watch the sunrise, watch the sea, and there are many seabirds flying in front of you. You can also touch the geothermal water when you walk out, and the room can also be directly heated and smoked

Beautiful view, comfortable room and bed and very clean. The staff are great. An interesting ever changing view with the lake, birds and families walking by. Great indoor spa bath.

We had a fantastic stay at this Lodge and that was mainly to do with the Manager, Arthur. He was fantastic in every way and anything that needed to be sorted, he sorted for us. The Lodge was beautifully situated by the lake, beds comfy, and the hot pool was fantastic.

I booked this hotel based on the photos online, which looked quite decent, but unfortunately, the reality was very different. The room we stayed in was not well-maintained at all. The heat pump gave off a strong, unpleasant smell—clearly the filter hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The room itself also had a musty odor that made it uncomfortable to relax in. One of the biggest issues was the bathroom. While the cleanliness there was surprisingly good, the water temperature couldn’t be adjusted properly, which made showers a frustrating experience. Additionally, the main door to the room kept jamming, both when trying to open and close it, which felt like a basic maintenance issue that had been ignored. Overall, the pictures online were very misleading. The condition of the room fell far below expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made.
