Bij een 4-sterreb hotel met een restaurant verwacht je ook een 4-sterren restaurant. Helaas is dat bij dit hotel zeker niet het geval. Niemand spreekt engels of duits. Noch bij de receptie van jet hotel noch bij het restaurant. Bediening is door een ober in T-shirt en met een baseball petje op. Papieren placemats van een of ander koffiemerk. Drankjes uit blik of flesje krijg je zonder glas erbij. Zeer eenvoudige gerechten op het menu. Desondanks een wachttijd van 50 minuten voordat het eten werd geserveerd. Verschillende ingrediënten misten of waren anders dan de beschrijving op de menukaart (geeen olijven in de salade, gebakken aardappels in plaats van friet e.d. kortom, kwaliteit van een matig eetcafé.

Wonderful location! Views of Lake Van and or mountains. The bedding and pillows were of good quality- sleeping on clouds! Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Good restaurant w delicious food and service. Definitely on my return to list!

I stayed at this hotel for one night, coming from Van and heading towards Bitlis. We stopped over for the night in Tatvan, which is a quaint little town, quite clean and organised, and has a very friendly atmosphere. The hotel is ideally located right at the city centre, the rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The restaurants serves great food, and the breakfast offers lots of varieties, with great views on Van lake. The rates are reasonable, and I highly recommend it for longer stays.

On a recent tour of the Van area we spent a night at this well run hotel. The room was comfortable and very warm ( actually a bit too warm but that is easier to deal with than cold) . I had a huge bed. The shower and bathroom were very good as well. We had a evening meal at the hotel as well and this was very tasty.

Ekim Ayında 40 Kişilik bir grupla konaklama imkanımız oldu. Tatvan da merkezi konumda. Genel Müdürü Salih bey Otel girişimizden çıkışımıza kadar her konuda yardımcı oldu. Odaları oldukça konforluydu. Restoranın Manzarası çok iyiydi. Yemekleri Özellikle Badem çorbası çok başarılıydı. Düşünmeden kalabileceğiniz bir Otel Tekrar konaklamak isteriz.
